  1. hola girls.... it is me again.... I just got back from going to an employment agency that is here in town. the guy that is running the joint is a good friend of dad's so I am getting the special treatment. LOL

we have also yet to buy a storage shed for the stuff that is now in storage. We have also been going through the old places where I used to live and hang out. How time flies. Thank you all for the birthday wishes I had a great one. I ate wings from wing stop and I was a very happy camper.

  2. Charity.... that is great news.....:dance: You will be having a little one in no time..... don't worry. I forsee being a VJ auntie again. (L)

Well it is hot here and we are finally settled in. We had to get a storage space until we buy a garage so we can store my washer and dryer and some other stuff. It is so good to finally come back to the place that saw me grow up :D. We are doing excellent with the move since we are together it doesn't seem to have affected us that much. I am hoping to find a job soon so I will be hunting today.

  3. My husband and I don't exchange gifts for any holidays. If anything I get him a card and write him a love letter. I used to do this a lot, but we've gotten to a point that we'd rather save our money and when we make a bigger joint purchase on something we both want, we can go together and get it without feeling guilty. I have told my husband I'm pretty low maintenance, I just would like a letter from him now and then, on notebook paper even. He used to do a great job at it, I have tons of love letters, but the last one I got was on the day I moved to Mexico to be with him.,,, in 2003. Hmm. I'm going to have to get on him like that, my birthday's at the end of this month hehe :)

you're a gemini just like me!!! and maybe my husband will have to call yours and get some pointers on the letter writing.

  4. Charity: What are you and Javier going to do for your anniversary. You don't have to tell me here if it is going to cost a lot of money. (Elvia may be watching). Heck go out buy some strawberries, chocolate sauce and get creative at home. I am sure you have a coupon for Hershey's chocolate. Save some money and make your own entertainment.

    Exellent Idea!!! Thanks Benita!!

 I might just have to use that for my anniversary that is coming up on the 23rd

  5. I am hoping she comes in tomorrow and talks to us about it. Remember that I killed my computer at work so I might just pop in and out. Hopefully she comes and you guys can help her through this bump.

On another Note..... I can't sleep  and that makes me mad. Hopefully I will be wide awake tomorrow at work.... plus I have to go to court  YUCK!!! I might need to take me some red bull or something to keep me awake.:lol: Have a good day girls.

  6. Hi Girls. I have killed 2 computers at work and then was out of town.

Elvia: I see you down there. How you been girl? We've missed you around here.

I just snuck in a quick peek at what was going on with all of you. sorry I missed you Charity. I think for your Cinco question you asked it a little late. I did the partying on the 3rd  and had a huge headache the next day. So today I caught up on some sleep and did really nothing. I hope all of you guys have a wonderful weekend.

Stephanie.... en donde te has metido que ya no me escribes :(

  7. I've almost given up hope in my case I am already making other plans, just in case things don't go our way. Does anyone know about having a religious ceremony in Mexico is that considered legally married? I really would like the religious ceremony to be there and maybe if he ever gets his visa come back and marry here through a Justice of the Peace.

Hey Bonnie... yes you are legally married once you have the ceremony. You will have to have a civil one and then do the church one. send inloveinmexico a PM. She was really helpful when I told her I was going to live in Mexico since she did it for so long.

  8. I sent you a report. I can't believe it has sunk in so quickly. I find myself asking, is this really necessary? I think I could do really good at the grocery store with some coupons. Especially if I find some coupons for the items that are already discounted with my card. I got some 8 o'clock coffee today buy one get one. It was $4.18 for both packages. The other coffee I was going to buy was almost $9. I really tried to scope out the deals. I have never done that before. I am really good about sales when I buy clothes but have never been worried about it with groceries. I already have the skills, I just need to put them in place. It's kinda fun to try and find cheap stuff.

asking yourself if it is really necessary or if you just want it is excellent. that way you buy what you need and not what you want

  9. Hey girls! I have been in and out today. Just got back from the grocery store. Javier's check finally showed up this morning. It didn't go so well. I didn't get coupons because I forgot about getting the paper. I have a card for the store I went to so I tried to get things on sell. I got enough stuff for supper tonight and tomorrow night and lunch for me for two days. Then some general things we were out of like coffee, eggs, sugar, etc. It was $57.60. I think I really need to do the coupon thing.

send me an itemized pm regarding what bills where paid and how much javier really got. and how much you have now.

Elvia: We are sticking to the plan. Just forgot the coupons. You will need to remind me next weekend. I'm not used to buying a paper so it's not something I think about. We have bought groceries and Javier's gas and we still have plenty leftover. It should be fine. I don't think it's going to be as bad as I thought. I am really impressed with us. We are doing great to remind each other how important it is to save money. I can't wait till this weekend so we can spend some more time together. I think I like staying at home more than going out now. Thanks again.

yay.... see... the hard part is starting then it comes like second nature. I would still like to see a report from you.
