I enter US on IR1-CR1 visa and still married to my US citizen spouse.I applied i-751, got approved and got my permanent resident (2nd green card) in January.

Never left the country more than 1 year.

i'm a permanent resident.

i enter usa 18th Nov 2014.

Can i send my N 400 yet? My son came to USA  as a minor immigrant but he will 18 in october. Can i apply N 400 fpr him too?

I have been misguided, i hope this is the right thread. 

I'm trying to get my son to the US. i have read that i can apply I-130 then apply his I-485 but some people are saying it's fraud?

How can it be? My son is 16 yrs old, he has a tourist visa valid for 10 years. He came last year and he wants to move here with us.

My husband is USC and i'm a GC pending status on I-751.

Can he come here on his tourist visa and adjust status while he is here??

Or can we apply for I-130 once he gets his NOA1 he comes here and apply I-485.

How does it work guys please shed me some light on this.

I'm from Mauritius. And yes i had to go to Kenya. But doesn't want my son to go there,he is a minor.

Ok, i'm a little confused here. I just called USCIS and they told me it's better I petition for my son because if my husband does it will take at least 7 years before he can gets here and if I petition for him it will take at least 2 years.

I wasn't expecting that looong waiting time.

On top of that my son will have to go to Kenya for interviews etc.. because my country doesn't deal with immigration visa.

I know i'm not the only here.

I'm a green card holder and would like to bring my 16 yrs old son to live with us in USA.

My husband is a US citizen and I'm a green card holder in process (i-751) removing conditions on resident to unconditional permanent resident in USA.

My husband is willing to help with filing whatever it takes to help my son to gets here so he can start school as soon as possible.

Where should I start to get my son moving to USA from Mauritius.

Read a lot about it and it look like it takes 6-10 months to get your permanent resident.

My interview date is scheduled on the 28th Oct 2014

I'm waiting for IOM to schedule my medical exams.

So many things to worry about that trip.

i am still looking for accommodation, as all this process might take two weeks, hotel cost a fortune$$.

If someone has experienced and know a nice and secure place not far from the embassy please send me the address because the longer i wait the more expensive it will get.

Will appreciate if someone can help!!!

My interview is scheduled on Oct 28th @6:30 am, in Nairobi Kenya.

Is there any VJ's interview has been scheduled same date at the same Embassy??

I might travel alone, looking at the hotel/guest house next to the embassy is very expensive

knowing the time i will have to spend there will be over 10 days.

If anyone of you had a good deal on hotel/guest house please let me know and tell me your experience too.

I don't mind sharing a place with another woman.

My husband USC is filling i-864 form and we are little BIT confused.

It mention we have to include cover sheet bar-coded, my question is 'which one' is it the same i have to include with my supporting documents from CEAC?

I just want to make sure no time is wasting to get through the NVC process.

I do not have legal residence in Kenya. But my interview will be scheduled there.

I think there is a possibility of changing address for the interview but i do not know how and how long it will take.
