  1. Hey everyone,

Today i have found something i was doing a lot of research on and finally got the answer. So you know how bad is the post office in our country is and i know am not going to get the package 4. Well i decided to email the embassy in the Dominican Republic. I wrote a good email by the way( in my opinion). This was on Thursday. Keep in mind that my interview is on June 5th. Today I received a email from the embassy that included package 4. I don't know if you guys knew this but just wanted to share the info since i didn't find it any where. If you want an example of my email just private message me and i'll be happy to help. they attached the interview letter and all the papers i need. This was great. good.gif

  2. i only did the DS forms in English. the vaccines are not required but its just easier to get them done at consultorios de visa that way they are sent straight to the consulate. we got the birth certificate & police certificates translated but they didn't ask for the translations so i didn't give it to them.

you said you brought the medical exams with you. Do i have to pick them up?

  3. they send it thru your email or to your mailing address? how long you waited for your noa2?

    thanks :-)

They notified me by email that my case was approved. I sent the RFE. On march 27. And on April 5 it was approved. Also, nvc get's it fast two. About 9 days from approved date. I did some studying.

  4. Well, I am applying to a K1 and we got approved March 4 (received hard copy March 8), March 18 the NVC generated our letter with case number (hard copy March 23), I'm not sure when the consulate received our case but they scheduled us for April 22.

According to the information here in VJ, it says in average you receive your appointment for 56 days (a little bit less than two month after being approved by the USCIS, NOA2).

Make the math! Remember when did you receive your NOA2?

We got approved april 5. And the nvc received it april 18. So it is like your case . We might get it for next month. If everything goes well.

  5. finally after 8 months of waiting there's a progress.how many months it took after submitting RFE? we just got a letter now from NVC and submit RFE.

    thanks :-)

Once i got my RFE i reply to them in about a week. After they received it about two weeks before a decision is made. ( that's on my own experience )

  6. Hey everyone. I just wanted to ask anybody that knows the System in The Dominican Republic. Can you please tell me when does the consulate start generating interviews during the month? and do you think that I'LL get my interview for next month if they received my case next week? Please let me know. the reason is because I have a very small time frame at my job and i have to let them know in advance. :wow:( i mean a month in advance ) in order to take any days off. Any help would be great and thank you in advance.
