My case was completed on 04/04/2014 i still didnt got my interview date please help if any one ever been throw this and how long i will have to wait

i am april file and i have not here anything yt from uscis so i made an apoiment and when to uscis office the officer told me that i have to wait for around six more months and they are sending out letter saying not to contact them for six month regards your case i wane know if any one receive that letter is this true????????????
