Congratulations! My husband filed in Feb 2016 and still waiting. May I ask what you submitted as evidence?
We submitted all the financial stuff we could - joint ownership of our home and our business (city tax records), joint bank account, joint health/dental insurance for us and our son, auto insurance, utility bills as proof of us both living at the same address. We also included plane tickets (printed out email confirmations) of trips we had taken together and some photos. We had a lot of evidence. I understood that the financial stuff was the most valuable so we really emphasised that. I kind of get the sense that our file sat untouched until really recently! I had an infopass appointment in September and they told me my packet hadn't been touched.

I've also been a silent lurker - filing date Jan 26th to VSC, I just received my letter today, dated Feb 23rd.
Has anyone received their card yet? I have plans to travel overseas in April and an infopass appointment next week to get a stamp just in case.

Congratulations! I'm adjusting status too so this is really helpful.
Just for the info of the poster below - there is a website which gives you the I94 number https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html;jsessionid=m9dWSMgfMVQXs7hYRRYgGPbnG1QqT1VpHwGRnhZWrHLQZL6yKPvm!-1588311864.
Good luck!
Congratulations on quick and successful AOS process! I have couple of questions regarding the forms when filing as visa waiver. Did you have I-94 number or what did you put in those fields where they ask you for it? And, on i-765, what did you put for item 15, current immigration status?
Thanks!

1. Country USC resides in: United Arab Emirates
2. Is there a USCIS field office in this country / Is DCF still possible? No
3. When did you file the I-130: April 9th 2013
4. How long had you been living abroad: Since November 2012
5. Do you reside in the country legally? My husband was there with me while I was working - he had a visitor visa which he renewed by doing a border run
6. What is the reason for your residence: work permit/student/tourist/ Work - Accompanying me (his wife)
7. Did you list your foreign address on all forms in I-130 package? Yes
8. Did you send I-130 package from abroad? No - we sent it to his parents who sent it to us
9. Did you include evidence of your residence abroad in the I-130 package? Yes. We also wrote "filed from abroad" everywhere we could!
10. Did you mention the fact you reside abroad in the cover letter or write a letter describing your current situation and the evolution of your relationship with your spouse (mentioning your residence abroad)? Yes
11. Has your case been "auto-expedited"? How long between NOA1 and NOA2? 99 days so it would seem so. Certainly quicker than other April filers -
Hi All,
Just updating that we had our NOA2 approved earlier this month. We have just come back to the UK (we filed from Dubai) and so we haven't received anything by post yet but we are getting our stuff together for NVC at the moment. We filed from abroad so I guess that has made it quicker.
Fingers crossed for everyone!

Hi everyone. I wanted to add some information to this forum. My husband and I both live abroad and we got our NOA1 early in April. We've been talking to a friend who handles immigration issues for one of the senators for my husband's state and he just forwarded us an email from USCIS saying that since we both live abroad, we will be processed at NBC and that the processing time is between 60 and 90 days. I thought it was pretty interesting because it is official confirmation of the fast track queue and also that the criterion is that both of you live abroad. My husband doesn't have a residency permit here in the UAE - he does border runs every time his visit visa runs out - but that doesn't appear to be an issue. We still don't have our NOA2 but hopefully we will get it soon. Good luck to anyone else who is waiting!

Hi Chon 1125,
We sent our paperwork on the 8th and didn't hear anything for ages. We called and they told us we had to wait 30 days before they would release our case number. We did that and we eventually got given our case number and found out it had been received on the 9th April.
I'd just wait until 30 days are over and then call. We live abroad too and it takes forever to get through to someone at USCIS but we spoke to them eventually. Now that we have the number we can check online which is much better.
Good luck!

I'm the beneficiary. I'm from the UK and I live with my husband in Dubai. We sent our packet at the very end of March (from Nepal, where we were on holiday) and the package was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on the 8th April. We got married in the UK just after Christmas and we've been together for 2 years.
Here's hoping it'll be a nice easy process for all of us!

I think calling is much better than using the website. I called and found out my card is in production. Website still shows nothing at all.
