  1. So, I married my husband 2 years ago. I came to the US almost 2 years ago. I haven't gotten a chance to get back to Indonesia, because I've been busy with school and work.

We wanted my mom to visit us here in The US, I haven't seen her for almost 2 years now. I miss her so badly.

She applied for tourist visa already and she just had her interview today. The officer asked her "have she ever come to America before, and what is her purpose coming to America." They asked for all her document.

Since my mom was on prison 25 years ago for 1 years, because of she got set up by our own family. The officer asked for letter from the court and police about her behavior. The officer that interview her, have her green paper. And asked her to complete send that letter by email and reschedule her interview.

My question here, do you think will it be possible for my mom to come here?

She's not working anymore and she own house in Indonesia and my sister need her help to take care of her children. She doesn't have a lot of money, because me and my sibling support her now.

Does anyone know what kind of color paper that the officer will give to her if the accept or denied her visa request.

I'm a little bit depress here, because I'm not there and I can't really help her with anything. To help her get through this visa process.

Any suggestion will be very appreciate.

    Thank you.

  2. They send packet 3 through you mail. I never prepare packet 3. Me and my husband prepare packet 3 before they send it to us. And packet 4 is the schedule of your fiance interview. I sent an email and ask them for packet 4 which is my schedule of interview. I through the procedure 1 step foward before the embassy. But make sure that the embassy recieve your file with your case number from them. So your fiance can make appoinment with the doctor for her medical exam and get the result. Prepare packet 3 and ask for an interview date.

    Goodluck

  3. Actually I got a good news few days ago. They actually gave me a piece of paper about my vaccine record and I asked one of VJ member, we're friend now since she lives close from where I live here in US. She said I can just used that paper and copy it and use it for adjusment status. She did it and they never ask about it. I think the paper that medikaloka gave me is the one that the USCIS need that's why they didn't me the copy of DS-3025.

I had all the vaccine they want, so just hoping things will work well :)

    Thank you Nich-Nick.

  4. I got my medical exam after my case accepted by Jakarta US embassy. You can go to medikaloka on monday, the exam will be done in a day but the result is 7 days of work. I suggest you to go to Punjabi, the exam take time in a day and you can get the result at the same day (from my friend experience, we had medical exam at the same date). After you get you medical exam in hand, mail the US embassy right away so the can give you the interview date, for K1 visa they will do it on tuesday or thursday.

After I done my medical exam at Medikaloka, the next day I sent email to the embassy and asked for the interview date. They reply my mail the next day and asked me to come on tuesday the next week. At that time I really don't know the medical exam result will be done 7 days of work, so I went to the interview without my medical exam result, which is not good because it cost all the delay for my visa. It will be better if you have your fiance have her medical exam result in hand on your fiance interview.

    Goodluck.

  5. I just found out that one of VJ member had the same experience like I did. She said she send the Copy of her vaccine paper that medikaloka gave her for the adjustment status and she got her green card in the next one month without had any interview. I think I will do the same and let see what will happen.

    NOTICE :

For anyone who will have their medical exam in medikaloka specially for VJ member in Indonesia, don't ever forget to ask for the copy of DS-3025. If you not ask them they will not give you that document...

  6. We didn't get the copy from Medikaloka as well. But, our local Civil Surgeon found from the link provided from Jay-Kay was willing to transcribe our vaccination record to I-693 form with very minimal fee.

Well, I wish I can do that. I will try to email the medikaloka, ask them to send me the copy of DS-3025. Hopefully they will reply my email and help me with this. We can not drive to illinois at this time, my fiance is kind a busy with his job, so what can I do now is just ask the medikaloka to send me the copy of DS-3025 through email. Finger cross >.<

  7. Ok. Thank you though. But my fiance called the civil surgoen and they said they still want me to do full medical exam, which is not good and waste of money. But I will try to ask the clinic that I went to send me the copy of my medical exam right away, because our wedding will be soon. And we want to do the adjustment status as soon as we get our marriage certificate.

  8. ~ Moved from K-1 Process to AOS from Family Based Visas ~

If you had all the vaccinations and your DS-3025 is filled out properly, you send in a copy of your DS-3025 with your AOS paperwork. Most people never get their own copy of their medical exam documents.

That's the problem, I don't have the copy of the DS-3025. I have my vaccine card but I don't have the copy of DS-3025. The clinic that I went is kind a dumb I think, because they always want us to ask the everything.

  9. I have a problem here. I don't have my medical exam copy with me. I only have my vaccine record. Will that be a problem? I really forgot to ask medikaloka to give me the copy of my medical exam (too excited that time). Do anyone know what is their email address? I'm in US and be with my beloved one, but we want to do our adjustment status as soon I get we get our marriage certificate. Can anyone give me suggestion what shoul I do to get my medical exam copy? :(

  10. Thanks all for your responses. I have already told her about K1 and the need to marry in the US and not her country. She is blaming it on her brothers (she is from a village) and how they won't let her go alone. I told her that it's impossible for me to go to her country even for one week. She simply ended the relationship and said good luck in your life. We fought a lot before this but she would always go nutts and call me 100 times a day until we get back together. Now after she got the visa it seems it's the opposite.

At this point, I have made up my mind and I don't want her anymore. My main concern is that she would use the visa to come to the USA and live with her sister illegally. If I tell the embassy there, would they call her back and revoke the visa??

That could happen. She will not be able to use her K1 visa to come to US.

I'm really sorry this is happening. It's really sad because I know the waiting and the effort that you need to do to get the visa.

  11. What about having just a wedding in China and then come to US to reguster?will that still be considered married??my fiancee really wants a wedding in China since all of her friends and family are there.

We did a small celebration or reception in Indonesia before I came to US and a blessing ceremony when we were on the ship (we were living together for 4 months on the ship and I want my family feel we didn't make any mistake or sins when we lives together). We asked the embassy about this and they said it's ok as long we're not do our legal wedding. In some country they have different rules about this. In other country they not allowed you to do any ceremony or celebration because that is consider marriage. You should ask the embassy in your fiance country just to make sure.

This is the mail from the embassy :

You can have a family celebration here in Indonesia. Do not register this ceremony to the KUA or Civil registry Office. If you do so, your fiancé will not eligible for a K-1 visa status.

    Goodluck :)

  12. Well i was going to file them concurrently but i485 isn't ready yet, my wife is waiting for her translated birth certificate and i don't think i should delay it anymore. So i'm sending i130 tommorrow.

I agree a good Christian will never do that thing. They are a crazy Christian. A true Christian always believe in LOVE, not hurting others and we respect every differences :)

Goodluck. I hope things will be better soon for you and your wife and you guys can lives happy than ever.

  13. I had the same situation like your fiance before. But I still went to my interview without my medical exam result. The embassy don't want hear any reason. You are to close with the date of your fiance imterview, so there is no way turning back. It will be ok. Trust me.

I had my interview really quick and they only gave me 221g form, they ask for my medical exam and I my passport name with my birth certificate is not the same, so I have to fix them. 3 days after the interview I went back to the embassy and bring my medical exam result and my passport. And they gave me white paper with a date when I can get my passport with my visa :)

Trust me, it will be ok. What they need is the proof of your relationship and they need evidence that you can support them if your fiance and her child come to US :) They will delay the process, but at least when she bring her medical exam, they will make the visa as soon as possible.

Never give up for the one you love :)

  14. We never recieve our packet 3 either, but we collect the data that they embassy in my country need it. We prepare them and my fiance call the NVC ask if our case with them.

Suddenly in 5 days we recieve mail from embassy in my country Indonesia.

The next day I made appointment with the doctor and gave them our case number from the embassy. The next two days I send an email to the embassy and they schedule my interview. If you want to make things fast, just prepare everything before they ask you. That is base on my own experience :)

Sorry if my english is kind a mess :P

  15. We had our NOA2 less than a month ago. Call the imigration to make sure they have your case and send it to your country right away. I had my medical exam before I have my packet 3. When I schedule my medical exam, we recieve our case number. After that, the embassy in Jakarta have our case. Less than 1 month we got our interview date after NOA2.

I think if you move fast and prepare everything well, they will do your case as soon as possible.

Goodluck and never stop calling or send them email, I believe they will help you if you prepare everything earlier.
