So the wife got the visa a week ago and should be coming here in 2 weeks. She said there is a paper that tells her to pay $160 fee for something. She gave me the link on the paper and it takes me to the login site for uscis. Any idea of what this is for and if i should pay it from here? thanks

i would call again and talk to a supervisor. alot of times its the person on the other end who's having a bad day. being nice on the phone can sometime help alot.

Mine took about week and a half after case completed.

Hello guys..called NVC last night..pretty weird as soon as i pressed one for english a really nice lady picked up and asked for case number. She said interview date of Aug 9th was assigned on Jul 17. Thanks for everyone's support and good luck for rest. will keep everyone posted with interview result. wife is freaking out now which is normal i guess

Well I'm gonna answer my own question here Just got off the phone with a NVC rep. She said no need to worry. Cover sheet from previous packet can be accepted since it will bring up the same case.

Hello everyone,

So i sent in my IV packet last week and realized today that i used the affidavit cover sheet with bar code instead of IV packet cover sheet with bar code. Should I send in the correct cover sheet by its self or send in the whole packet again. I've already sent the originals documents according to the directions. Thanks in advance.

once you've paid the fee, I-864 is sent 1st with supporting documents. Then you pay IV packet fee and send in with supporting documents. I just mailed my IV packet today. Hoping to get the interview scheduled within a week or 2

I gree with you NVC, getting ready to send in my IV packet and realistically looking to be put in AP. I might go back to visit her if it takes this long. But just like you said when its all set and done looking back only shows you what the rest of the life will be like. Good luck to all.
