    I read that in order to file for a cr1.. I need to file in the country I was married in .. I am a legal resident of italy but my husband and I were married in Phillipines(my country of citizenship). Can I file in Italy since this is were I lived Or do I need to file in Manila?

      No.the first step for obatinaing your CR1 spousal visa is for your U.S. resident spouse to file the I-130 application to sponsor you.
