    It is too important to bring with you to interview:

    1. Most recent tax reports of sponsors (form w2 and 1040)

    2. A new photos 5cm*5cm (2-4 pcs)

    3. A new police certificate, from each country where you lived after 16th years old longer then 1year.

    4. Originals of all documents thet you sent as copys to nvc.

    5. Print reciept from ustraveldocs

    No. My understanding is that if the date retrogresses before they put the stamp in your passport you're out of luck. I recall that happened to a poster here a few year back; it retrogressed just prior to her interview. They still interviewed her and "approved" the application, but she had to wait until she was current again before they would stamp the passport.

    if you complete interview in same day with retrogress started u will get the visa. one of the persons that i know has interview in november 2010 when was a big regress, but he is recivied his visa

    Is ther ea link that explains the costs? I found something that appears to say it is $160 for the applicaiton (I think) and I'm wondering if there is a link that lists other costs or options like expediting the Visa?

    this is the only payment for b1/b2 visa application.

    faster visa can only be given if you have extremely circumstances ... but usually after the interview , if not refused , they return the passport with a visa in a week

    Do interview docs need to be translated?(split)

    All documents not written in English, or in the official language of the country in which you are applying for a visa, must be accompanied by certified translations. The translation must include a statement signed by the translator stating that the:

    • Translation is accurate, and
    • Translator is competent to translate.

    yea, however multiple NVC reps have told (when I called them) that NVC is now reviewing documents in 45 days or less and that 60 day e-mail is standard. 45 days will be on May 20th 2015.... I'll be waiting like everyone else, i'm not in any sort of hurry as I've been living/working in Dubai for the past 10 years so a few more months of wait shouldn't really be an issue.... patience is key with the US Immigration Process :)

    case are completed in May as usual going to July VB. So good luck, hope to get IL for july VB too, or luccky case in june

    Hura - Thanks for responding. I actually pulled the approved doctor's list for Pakistan and called up one of the doctors and told him my story. He told me that once I receive my IL, then upon examination he will check my health and all and give me the required vaccinations and I should be good to go.

    Just waiting for NVC to complete my case and schedule me for an interview now.....

    Hi Guys - I have a quick question, I'm yet to receive my interview letter (it should be coming sometime in June) and my question is that:

    I don't have past immunization records as they were lost, what happens when I go in for the medical? Will the medical examiner just deem me as "ineligible" for a visa or will they give me all required vaccinations and I shouldn't have a problem during my immigrant visa interview?

    Any help/insight will be greatly appreciated.

    it depends. and different from country to country, and season, and age of applicant.
    if u havn`t documents of immunizations, so doctor in medical examination will make decision, what exactly immunization u have to made.
    u can refuse to make vaccinations, for example if u have documents about allergia or religios reasons, in this case in the interview at embassy will be made decision if you qualified to get visa
