Thank you everyone for your congratulations. I submitted my ROC on March 28 2017. There are 2 different sites you can use to check your status. Each are a little different. https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/users/sign_up?session_id=9e36cf98-44bf-4877-818d-56d8ea2a9d01
I only found out about the second one from someone else on the board and it looks like it is more up to date than the first link.

- I just tried signing up for that other site and here are some of the latest updates. The extra one i see is that along with my name, they corrected my date of birth. Maybe it is just what is updated/checked by the officer as they go along the case?

I am in HR and we are not supposed to demand that. As long as you showed your unrestricted SSN and DL you should have been good. However, if they are demanding that from you and if it is an emergency, you can try to walk in to one of the offices and see if they will stamp you. You can probably take the email from your HR coordinator as a proof.
You can also try scheduling an infopass appointment at midnight or at odd times - some people have had luck with that. If there are other offices a couple of hours away, you can try scheduling there as well. Good luck and hope everything works out for you! Please keep us posted.
Thank you for the very helpful information. If they ask me for other proof, is there something i can refer to so i can show them that they can't demand any other proof from me?

You are still in legal status after your extension letter expires and should have any issues with your current job.
My hr coordinator came to warn me though that it expires in 4 weeks so won't i need proof that i am a resident to keep working?

Try again after midnight. Good luck
Thank you! I will try!

So i am trying to make an infopass appointment but it is proving really difficult. My extension letter expires in 4 weeks and if i don't have my card approved or be able to make an appointment then i will not be able to continue with my job. Anyone else in the same boat?

My status still shows as received by local office on 2/27/18.

I had my interview just this Tuesday and they gave my back all my originals on the spot (birth certificate, police certificate and even a copy of the vaccination record form).
-
Wohoooo! I just had my interview on Tuesday (5/11) and received my visa in hand today (7/11)!!!! I am in so much shock about how fast this is happening and my visa came in perfect timing as my last day of work is tomorrow. I'll be leaving to the US 26th December! God bless everyone in here and keep holding on. Your time is nearly here
-
Hooray Aysidrak nov is just right round the corner we are wishing you the best. You will get your visa too
Thank you Nurseling! I am so excited!

Lol ozgirl! Maybe you have a sixth sense of some sort hahaha. You're going to be following soon! I'll keep you up to date and likewise ok?
-
Ahhhhh i just got my packet 4 via email and my interview date is Nov 5!!! I was not expecting this at all. They only got my package 3 days ago! Ozgirl! You were right!!
-
Wow you be there very soon then. I have decided to go in november now instead of december tickets seem much cheaper nov end around 27 is the date I am now on the search for a ticket for. Waz going to spend christmas with my family here but it will cost too much waiting till december.
Wohoooo congrats nurseling! That is awesome!
-
Yes your flight is very expensive. I really should be great flu for my 650 lol. When do you plan to fly out?
Just saw you said December 26 that's the same day I plan to go Boxing Day. Who are you flying with?
I am going with Etihad airways. It was one of the cheaper flights. Only downside was that it is a longggg trip. Around 33 hours include a 3-4 hour stopover lol but i am willing to pay less even if i have to sit on a plane for ages. It goes to Dubai then to New York. My fiance is picking me from New York as he lives in Connecticut and then will drive there. That saves around $500 instead of going to his local airport! Which airline are you using? I have to also take my wedding dress with me!

Yesh I'll get the documents back asap. Good to know about the supporting evidence for the I-134. If they dont need them, I'm happy to send back once I get to USA. And yes, my co-sponsor needs to fill out the I-134 also with supports, but being a immi laywer, he does it on daily basis. It's just weird as now he's on the other end of it LOL.
I have been selling bits and pieces, but with 3 children, i can't get rid of alot yet, but the kids rooms are much easier to clean now, with less ####### in them LOL.
You'll get there. Just take it day by day. Good luck
Woo hoo. how exciting. $75 is good just in case. I've been looking at 6-20th Jan for flights. Seems to be a little cheaper. I'll be VERY lucky to find plane tickets for us under $4500. With the medicals, plane tickets and hotel for interview, visa payment and one way travel there is going to cost approx $6800. We wont have even left Australia by then
Ouch. Yeah $75 isn't much considering what you paid for ticket. Well done
It's amazing how much this all costs! I haven't bought any new clothes or bags or shoes etc in the past few months as i have put away most of my income for visa, wedding and travel costs lol.
I am sure that in Jan flights will be cheaper. Do you have any particular airline in mind? Some of the cheaper airlines are usually united airlines. I am going with Etihad airways. It was cheaper than Qantas and i've booked for boxing day.
-
Wow 75 for a flight you serious. Am seeing tickets for 650.00 pounds. So expensive here.
No no! Lol If it was $75 a flight, i'd be visiting all the time hahah! It's $75 charge if i want to change my flight. My flight there cost $1,776. That equates to around 1,049.08 British pounds. I had to go to yahoo to convert it lol. Wow 650.00 pounds i consider that cheap haha. Then again Australia is far from the rest of the world!
-
Sounds like your form was received and logged in when the CEAC changed. I will keep fingers crossed for you to get your interview soon.
Thank you Nurseling! I just booked my flight yesterday for December 26. So hoping i have my visa in hand before then lol. It only costs $75 if i have to change the ticket so it's all good.
-
Thanks Aysidrak looks like your almost there too. Just waiting on interview date right. Hope you get one in the next week so the at least you can feel more at ease once interview is done. I was nervousness up on to the day of interview but every one was so nice at the interview. Let us know how you get on with yours.
I'm dying to get my interview date lol. I sent in my packet 3 on Thursday and it was delivered the day after. My ceac status updated date changed to yesterday's date so hopefully that is a positive sign.
-
Thank you so much Ozgirl! WIll def keep you updated on the interview when the date comes etc.
Congratulations Nurseling on coming so far! You are nearly there!
