My 9 yr old daughter has an appointment for photo taking next week re adjust status. How long does it usually takes for a k2 greencard to process? Because mine took 8 months fro filing i-485 to receiving greencard. Thank you

Checked my AOS case status online last night and found this:

On March 23, 2015, we registered your permanent resident status and mailed you a Welcome Notice for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxx. Please follow the instructions in the notice. Your new permanent resident card should arrive by May 22, 2015, after this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.

I noticed almost all K1 AOS applications are delayed for 6 months with interview waiver. The rest having gotten their green cards pretty quick, with interview are non-K1.

Received a letter today re: Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case

However! The delay to completion of case is approximately 6months. LOL!

We'll see if that comes out before i give birth! Yes, i am 10weeks preggy!!! Hehehe!

I just called our district's congressman's office and they told me that I have to wait at least 90 days from receipt of NOA before I can request for EAD expedite.

So sad. I already need to work so I can help my husband with the bills.

Bahaha! Oh thats a relief to know i wont need those papers once i got ead or greencard haha

you've already been to your biometrics appointment, yes?

if so, you won't really need any of those papers moving forward. just make sure that when your EAD/AP and green card come in the mail, you keep them far away from the puppy

Our puppy got a hold of all of my NOA hard copies and the biometrics receipt and has tore them up........

Done with biometrics today! Went in 3 hours before scheduled time and i was accommodated. Finished in 15mins. Now going back home through 5 hours drive!! Haha

Biometrics appointment letter received today!

Scheduled on July 23, 1pm, at Jacksonville Florida.

5 to 6 hours drive just to go there. ahehehe

But its ok haha I cant complain.

Wait until you received hard copy of your NOA-1 for AoS and EAD. If still don't work probably you have started calling USCIS.

June 3- Mailed AOS & EAD application

June 24 at 1am - Received SMS & email receipt notification for both.

Until now receipt numbers are not found online.

Is this normal?

Its been more than 3 weeks before i receive an SMS and email for receipt of my AOS package.

Only yesterday i called customer service and i was transferred to an immigration officer.

I was avised to email Chicago lockbox support (where is sent my package)

I didnt receive a reply but at 1am today i got an SMS and email notification that they got my package

NO the money is still there...

Has the check been cashed yet?

I called USCIS not to mention 4 hours waiting time.

And i was told they dont have it yet and i have to email lockbox support.

Im really getting frustrated already.

Ive just read one who sent their AOS last June 11 and received a text on the 16th.

The thing is my husband sent my package via first class usps with no tracking.

I called postal office & they said theres no way to track it.

Its been 11 business days since we sent the package and we didnt even know if its received.

Is 11 business days still normal???

Im really losing hope and already thinking resending papers again :'(
