i am a us citizen and filed i-130 for my wife on Nov 13, 2014...1st, what i want to know is what is the average waiting time from the 1st day of sending the form i-130 to the interview?

the 2nd question is what are my rights towards the NVS if i feel that my case is taking too long ...what can be done here?

i am us citizen. I received the approval notice of i-130 petition for my wife on June 10, 2015 ... it s about 2 months and 7 days yet i still didnt hear from the NVC for the next step. its really frustrated. is that time of waiting is normal or what ?? i dont know really what is going on....taken that the priority date of my case is NOV 13, 2014......please who can shed some light here....thank you

i got ' REQUESTED EVIDENCE' where USCIS requires additional evidence to process the form I-130... the notice says '' that my response must be recieved in this office on or before MARCH 9, 2015....you will not be granted an extension of time to submit the requested evidence " my question is would the stamp of the poste office matter here if forexample i send the docs on 8 or 9 th ????

Hi everybody,

If i am not mistaken, the USCIS sends the package i-864 to be filed out by the sponsor .The latter has to send it to his spouse to be signed!!! instead of waiting until the uscis sends the i-864 package then i have to send it to my wife overseas to sign it, i want to go online and print the form i-864 NOW and send it to my wife to sign it...DOING ALL THIS IS TO SAVE TIME ! can i do that or what ??

i authorize my brother to act on my behlaf as power of attorney ....back in my country my brother will sign the marriage contract in my absence means his signature will be in the marriage contract......when i file for my wifecome here to the united states ,would it be problem or it would be fine ??

and setting up the paperwork....not marrying the girl....it is like having an attorney.... i hope i kind of make it clearer now....on the marriage contract

hi averybody......i dont know if what i am goinf to state is familiar to someone or not....i am us citizen...the point is that had my brother taking care of stuff back im my original country...i met the girl who i will marry and we set up everything.... for a reason i cant go back to my country and do the marriage process yet my brother he will do that ....he is doing everything legally on my behalf especially marriage contract....my question will that make an issue/problem in the future when i file for my wife?? will i need extra documents since my brother would sing on my behalf? i really need insights thanks

thank you....i got an an idea now about how long it may take. Yet, i have another concern . My wife is going with me to the oath ceremony and i am worried if they would let her in or there is room where she supposed to wait for me ??? i need your advice here esp you said that the ceremony takes some hours. thanks

i had the interview for my citizenship and the test was great .HOWEVER, the officer said that he needed a spousal affidavit from my wife stating that we still living together and residing at the same address, ect. i dont dont know why all this ??? can you provide me with a sample please? thanks

Two weeks ago i got a notice entitled THIS IS NOT AN INTERVIEW NOTICE .the subject: Pre-interview case file review...It recommends that i bring my

driver' license and passports travel documents.

My question is how long it would take to get the Interviw notice?
