I hope you guys can help me out.
I petitioned my mother and she is having her interview at the Santo Domingo consulate next week. And I'm confuse her. I have some questions.
1. Do I need to bring the a new aos again? It been around 5 or 6 months since they got the first one. And we have a new taxes this from 2018.
2. Do I need to bring new birthday certificate? New marriage certificate?
3. A new police report? "Papel de Buena conducta"
Can anybody list me what do I really need to bring? please it will be greatly appreciated it.

The preparer and interpreter parts of the form are meant for third-parties or lawyers filling the forms for you, not if the other spouse is helping with the form. Good luck!

I have a question I'm filling out my husband ROC and I want to know if can I put myself as prepare and interpreter since my husband doesn't speak fluent English yet. And it the form and read it to him. Or just leave that part blank? Thank you in advance God bless you all ?

Yes, but you have to leave before you get into the consultorio. They will tell you to leave it in a locker.

keep calling the NVC I used to call twice a day. They gave me the date six days after the case was closed.

I would like to get some feedback about how your interview went at the Santodomingo embassy?what paper work did you take for interview?what questions did they ask you? And what are the procedures for the VAC?

I'm just waiting on my interview date and would like to be prepare as to what to come my way...

This question is for those that have case complete and beyond. Did you have to translate documents sent to the NVC(birth certificate, marriage certificate, police report etc.)????

We got approved Wednesday Nov 5th. It wasn't easy they separated us. They took my husband for about 45 minutes and then me for like 30 minutes. But we show them our loves is real. I'll post my review later and any questions feel free to ask.

Good afternoon All,

I am new to your website and am wondering if someone can answer this for me.

I am an American Citizen. I petitioned my husband in August 2013 (CR1). I called NVC for a case status. The representative said it was completed on October 7, 2014 and we are waiting to be scheduled for an interview at the Embassy in Dominican Republic. I also receicved an email stating the same on October 15, 2014. Any guesses on how long after me receiving the email it takes them to schedule and when approximately we will be interviewed?
