I talked to someone at the consulate every time. Just look for a contact number from the USA... Might have to dig a little! Also you cannot expedite the visa delivery. No I didn't. all I did was fill out the form and I got my W-2s and then I got a letter from my employer and some pay stubs and make sure you send in two years worth of the form 1040 and two years worth of W-2s

The interview she said was just fine, it was all in English which surprised her but she speaks really good English so it was ok, other than that just make sure you go through a review if some basic interview questions. I didn't wait for any emails from the embassy or anything. If I had a question I just called the embassy and spoke to someone directly. When the approved application left the nvc, we had everything done and interview done and everything within two weeks. But it's because I had my papers already done, and spent 50 bucks to get them there in only a few days, so that way she had everything...

i kind of made it happen myself. i didnt wait for the embassy to tell us anything. i searched out the information, created the profile on their new online system, and scheduled the medical exam and interview etc...the embassy actually hadnt even sent out our packets by the day she went for her interview. so i was the one that just made it happen. didnt want to wait for them to do it.
