  1. Don't quote me on it but i believe IR/CR cases get I/L throughout the month(No Visa bulletin issue for IR/CR cases) while F2A cases get it only at the end of the month. Have seen the trend for F2A cases in this forum itself.

Worst case its about 20-30 days wait from CC to get your I/L (Seen for F2A cases)

I hope they schedule my interview fast. Thanks for your help.

  2. Yeah sure thnak you for the help n yeh i will call

Today ...btw can u tell me how much time it would take in to ur case to got case number till visa ???

Once NVC receives your file they usually say wait 20 business day for case number. It took me 13 business days to get my case number. NVC received my case in Nov and my case completed with them on February 12th. It took me over 2 months and now im waiting for an interview date. I would say once cased received it takes about 3 to 4 months till visa.

  3. Yeah frd we already contacted our senator n one of the lady frm there gave us a form privactly act form to fill out. Nw its been one week we r waiting for her response hope fully today we will get it

Call up the Senator's office to ask if they found out anything. I had to call my Senators office all the time and they always had an answers within 48 hours. Keep pushing them. I know how it feels since I waited 3 months for my file to reach NVC. Feel free to contact me anytime if you need more help, Good Luck.

  4. Was your case approved by a local field office? If yes, they might still have the file. My case was approved by local field office and they took almost 3 months to get my file to NVC. You should call USCIS and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer. Explain the officer your case has not been received by NVC and most likely the officer will open a ticket to contact the local field office about the file. Also ask the officer did they ship out the file yet, if you get a good officer he will look into that. If nothing helps, contact your local congressman or senator ask them to follow up on your behalf.

  6. great news you got today from the NVC as for the IV package got reviewed and accepted and don't worry the AOS checklist will be reviewed ..so the IV package they reviewed they scanned it into the system on December 31 which tells me they are working now on the January cases smile.png

Well I just called them and my IV packet was scanned on Dec 31st also. I got a nice talking guy on the line but he didn't want to give any information. Anyways he said we received two packets they are still under review.

  7. ohh i am sorry..i did get a checklist too as for my AOS and i did respond on it and the NVC got it in the system on January 2 and i am waiting since then to hear from them...when did the NVC scanned your checklist in their system?

My documents will be delivered to them tomorrow morning. Hopefully they will scan it in the system by Friday or latest Monday. I sent the documents to CMR AOS department and today I got the actual checklist in email which had a cover sheet for DR department. Hopefully that won't slow my process. Next week I will be traveling to India to celebrate my 1st wedding anniversary with my wife, hopefully by the time I return back to U.S my case will be complete...
