Called consulate, they say they need to process 2 to 3 month. that is ridiculous long... Also they need to take fingerprint in their consulate to process police record...
If, lets say my wife successfully got japanese police record in a sealed envelope, how do we translate it if USCIS requires english translated copies?

Situation:
My wife just took a biometric test 10 days ago, but FBI sent a letter in 2 weeks says they can't process her finger prints successfully and requiring a second fingerprint test. Her hand has skin problem and all fingerprints are not visible at all. We are worried she won't be able to pass the 2nd test either.
Possible Solution:
I read some other post saying I should get Police Record/Clearance Letter from past 5 year where she lived. I want to do it now before 2nd test begins, but I have few questions about how to do it correctly.
Questions:
1. Can I get a police record from where we are living in Seattle. WA? (she's been living here 1 year and half ).
2. If police record has to be from the city where she was born(Tokyo), how can she do it without going back to Tokyo? We didn't submit the form that allow her to travel out of country and come back.
3. Can I still submit the form that allow her to travel outside U.S now?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

I filed for my spouse AOS which is concurrent filing. Including 485,130 and all others.

I received 3 notifications with 3 different receipt numbers before. All of them says official Receipt Notice will be follow in mail.
Have anyone experienced in this?
Thanks

I got a copy of form 1-693 from doctor as well as a sealed envelope. Should I send both in for our AOS or keep the copy of i-693 with me as backup file?
Thanks

I don't believe you didn't plan it, but intent by itself is not a strong enough reason to deny an AOS based of a marriage to a USC, in the absence of other negative factors.
As long as she did not lie at POE, it should be okay.
are you saying you don't believe I didn't plan to have marriage or overstay?
We didn't plan to have her overstay at all and we didn't plan to have wedding before she come over. Wedding was decided while she was here because we have to adjust based on her best friend and all of our family's best available time.
you are saying even I said we intend to get married, it would be fine?

Lets say my wife came aboard as visitor at January 9, 2013
and I got my US citizenship at Feb 7,2013.
Then married her at March 15, 2013.
We planned to have wedding in 4 month after marriage. So she decided to stay so we can prepare for wedding together.
1+ year past and I am trying to apply her green card now.
1. I am not sure whether we should say "we planned to have marriage before he/she come over to US" in the interview. The Guide here says people shouldn't have intention for immigration and marriage.

2. I am also afraid they wouldn't believe her stayed because she want to prepare our wedding together. Is this even can be a good reason to interviewer?
Thanks

Thanks for replies guys. So if she traveled to U.S before and stayed between 1-3 month for visiting me. . Should I put my addressable while she was here?

we are not trying to lie, she is lazy about finding out the detail date of when she find and quit jobs. We thought the longest and important jobs would count rathan than others.
Why foreigner needs to submit two G-325a? so we should submit 4 total?

Hi guys, thanks for reading the post.
I came from Japan with a VWP tourist visa and married to my fiance in less than 3 month. My Visa expired in January 2nd. Now it has been almost half year I married to him. We are trying to apply for AOS now.
but i heard we supposed to do AOS right after marriage....
Anyone have same experience like ours? I am worried if there is any problem because of this.
also, The Boston bombing thing just happened, we are not sure if it has make the AOS harder.
thank you

i asked a stupid question. just edit this reply. nvm. thanks for your reply. J.

True... I did not word that as well. Thanks for picking up my slack!
that's very interesting to know that we can totally tell officer we intended to come over for marriage. I want to know the opinions from more people tho.

the question " newacct" asked bring up my attention. Is it true that AOS care more about the intention of overstay more than intention of coming oversea?
are you guys saying that it is ok to tell AOS we intended to get married after she come over?
-
The thing is we wanted to have wedding ceremony at the end of March in Hawaii. that was the plan after we married. I heard it could also be a good proof that our marriage is not a fraud. that's why she decided to stay after our marriage date.
-
I guess my main question is... did you intend to get married while she came over for this trip? When she came did you guys have no intentions of getting married and she planned to return home by January 10th?
You said you waited a year and a half to get married in the US after she come over from Japan.
thank you for reply, all of you. I have to be honest that we planed to get married if possible, because we really don't want to wait anymore.
newacct : She did not intented to stay tho. We were even thinking go to live in Japan/Korea/China. we have families there.

Sorry. When I say "VMP", I meant VWP as "Visa Waiver Program"
