So you were the last September 2012 filer here who didnt get NOA2 ?
its gonna be 7 months for us still waiting
it seems IO were right by telling us that it will take from 6-12 for now
Good luck on next stage
yeah we're from the same state n thanks a ton GeorgeCongrats, it's nice to see someone from the same area, get a NOA2 approval. Your next step, is the NVC, when you are finished with them, then it will be time, for the interview. You should start getting the papers, you both will need for the NVC.
There are a few links, that you be helpful for y'all. Here's one.

I've been waiting for noa2 since September , we call uscis every week n had an info pass too all they say is that you have to wait we even asked of there was any problem they just say us to wait .. I'm tired of waiting
-

we call uscis every week , had an info pass and also applied for e request all they say is that the documents are correct and my file is still being processed and they can't say how much more time it may take .. When my hubby had info pass in April they said they'll be sending the approval in a weeks time n now after e request they say they cant estimate how much time it might take ... It's really depressingthanks for all the support guys -- that link definitely helped me organize myself and im in the process of gathering the relevant documents.
i actually have two additional questions as i read through this --
- We have kept my wife's maiden name throughout the documents we filed because she never changed her last name in Canada. Is the DS230/260 or keep everything the same for consistency?
- Im a joint sponsor for my dad on his brothers application. do i have to list that and does it negate me from using the I864EZ?
Hi Nabby1 -- did you try calling USCIS and asking for a tier2 rep?
-
go to the uscis homepage in the left side you see info pass n details related to it .. You'll get it when you look at it you need to have your case no.hi, totally understand you, we are December fillers still waiting, my husband has not idea how to make infopass, please can you tell us how to do that?
Thank you in advance and good luck

we're on the same boatIt's our 3rd wedding anniversary today...3rd time that we are celebrating this day apart.
It's also exactly 9 months since our NOA1. Called USCIS several times, sent e-request, asked for a senator's help but nothing happened. Hubby has a scheduled infopass today hoping to get some answers.
What else can we do? Waiting for NOA2 is so depressing.
9 months n still waiting :'-(

I'm a September 2012 filer yet to receive approvalI filed my i130 for my spouse in January, 2013 via Chicago Lockbox. She is a Canadian Citizen and I'm a USC. She lives in Canada (and is there currently). I received my NOA-1 very quickly but since then nothing. I called USCIS and spoke to a tier2 on several occasions. Finally, in early march I was told my case was sent to my local field office in NYC. I had some shimmering hope... Then a month later, the case went cold again. The last time I called the tier2.. A week ago.. They seemed to have gotten irritated.
Anyhow my question is, I know it'####### or miss on approval processes, but how much longer can this take? Should I take a lawyer to help push this further? I heard local offices take much longer. Is there any other forms I can file in the interim to keep the case going? I know I can't do the i485 because she's not living here....
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

congratsAnswers to your questions....
1.I think they did not have car service....If you know hindi....it is very easy to take a taxi....no need of pick up services from hotel....
2.Hotel is very nearer to embassy.....just 5 minutes drive from the hotel to embassy....we went to the hotel one day before to the interview....so we visited embassy ,one day before the interview date....
so on the interview day,we are very comfortable ....
3. I kept my cellphone with my parents.....
4.Don't expect much like in four star hotels.........it is okay for me.....but they are taking half an hour time to serve an order......my parents went outside for food on the second day....they felt good with outside of the hotel food....
5.It all depends on you......We booked for 2 days......I suggest u to take deluxe room in this hotel....There are two types of deluxe rooms.....one is having enough space and other one is equal to executive room....i.e ....small room....We went one day before to the interview ... so we stayed before the day and on the interview day....
6.Their check out time is 24hours....From 12 noon to 12 noon...
7.They did not have wifi or internet service i think........But i am not sure about this.....
Overall it is good with that price..... but rooms are small...washrooms are clean........it is good for two persons in one room..... I am telling u this, because we are three ...we payed for three persons in one room...they told that they will give extra bed....we thought that they will give single cot with bed.....but they gave us just bed and arranged on the floor....i adjusted with it because floor is cleaned.....anyway i adjusted in the sofa on the day time ...
I hope my experience helps u.....I confidentially tried this hotel because of Pmartin(Who told me about this hotel)......
Sorry for correcting....That is not karam....It is kamran residency.....
... One question from me too when did you receive your visa ?? I mean within how many days of the approval ??

thanks !! Very informative ... I'm fed up of waiting I still didn't get my noa2from NOA 2 to interview? no one can really give an accurate estimate as so many factors come to play like:
*Your file does not get to NVC quick, some take few days, some two weeks and I have sesen some 6 weeks!!!!!
*getting the case number after your case arrives widely varies for so many people.
* how quick you are in making payments and sending AOS and IV documents after payments.
*Something was missing or incomplete in the documents you sent to NVC and they send you a checklist to fix it.
some of these factors are controllable while some are not. then after your case gets completed by NVC , how free or backloggged is your embassy? since NVC schedules your interview based on availabilties given by the embassies.
A regular case(no delays) could pretty much be done with NVC under 1 month and be on queue for interview which could be another 3-6weeks to get the notice depending on the embassy.

... So when will his visa be mailed ?? I mean his navy data will it take to get your visa after interview ?

congratulationsWell it was a long hard road but we did it!
My wife's interview (under the new CGI Stanley process) was this morning sched for 7:00am. As most of you know about GZ , the 7am appointment time meant next to nothing. We waited in the street level queues until almost 8:00.
My wife was finally given a sticker on her passport and told to go inside with about 50 other people. As she watched most of the people get processed/approved she kept wondering why her appt letter said 7:00am!
Finally she was called and told because our case was "different" (not sure what that meant) they took longer than normal.
Typical 2 q's:
- are you PRC?
- how did you meet your husband?
After that that said congrats and gave her the $165 online visa processing paper.
I paid it within 10 minutes at a local Internet provider and printed copies of my PAID receipt :-)
We have Mrs Chen from Huaren looking out for the stamped passport real-time.
How long do u good folks think this will take?
)) .. Plz can you tell me how much time did it take for you to get an interview date scheduled after noa2 ??
