Hi everyone. Let me explain my dilemma. i am an american citizen married to a Ghanaian national. so far our visa process has gone very smoothly except for financial support. up until last month I was working on a part time basis and was exempt from filing taxes. i recently became full time and make in excess of the base amount to sponsor my husband on my own. Today my husband had his 3rd embassy interview appointment to present my updated AOS and all the proof that i am emplyed and earning a substantial income. The consular refused to accept the AOS because it was a scaaned copy ansd she also told my husband she is refusing to consider my new income because I havent been working long enough at my new position. she is insisting on a joint sponsor. i dont know anyone who makes enough money to joint sponsor with me. i dont know what to do. i dont think it is fair that they wont accept my employment. i have contracts that state my job is secure for at least a year. she wouldnt even look at the contracts. any ideas out there for me? this is getting so frustrating. i havent seen my husband in almost 15 months.we cry over the phone so much because we love each other and need each other.
