I sent the Pakistan embassy missing documents on 9/23. The visa wasn't issued until 11/29. You are lucky to live in a place where your documents will be reviewed and visa will be issued in 7-10 days. Maybe this will help your patience :)

You can go to the embassy but you'll get the same response you do in your emails. But go if you want to if it'll give you rest

You can email the embassy as much as you want but that won't expedite your husband's AP. Nothing will expedite your husband's AP. When was your last update? I think it's a good idea for you to go to paki and you guys come back together

No they take the fee out when it's paid, sometimes it takes a few days to a week. Nothing will happen for at least a 1-3 months after POE (if you paid before POE) or 1-3 months if you paid after POE. During that time the USCIS will look through the IV package they received on the beneficiary at POE. When they do that it goes to optimized. After that they'll order the production of the green card and when that happens the case is closed and you're sent the green card.

ok that makes sense. I also read that we get a notification in the mail? And one more question. The letter embassy gave us says that we have to go to the SS office with all documents after the beneficiary gets here, then they will send his SS card. I thought they SS card came in the mail automatically usually after 2-3 weeks? Did they change things?

I am not sure what the flow chart is once the fee is paid. We paid the fee yesterday but it has not yet been taken out of my bank account. Is this normal? I read somewhere that they take the fee out once the beneficiary is in the country. Is that correct? Also do you get any confirmation? I just got a email after paying the fee that the case has been updated and that I should login to check it out, but the status was the same. Is all this normal? What happens and when does it happen after the fee is paid?

I asked him why we were denied he said because he is not sure if we are legit. And thanks for the advice but I just cannot go that route. And yes she may be used to the conditions but she would be in better health living with me in the states where I can get her the medical attentions she need. Over here is rough .

I would suggest getting married. If you go through the same route, you could be denied AGAIN. But of course you know your situation better than I do. Good luck

I would put his parent's address because as of right now that's the only place you guys have to live. When you figure out where you guys want to live, just change the address.

Even if it was just passive smoking, what would a second test do? If it's in your system, it's in your system. It's unlikely that a second test will give you different results, but I guess go for it. Nothing to lose (besides money)

They are just doing extra background checks on you. When your case was updated, it meant someone "touched" your file. No one can predict how long AP will take, but I don't think Philippines AP lasts that long

bro dont wanna be negative but after status issued the case updating is not a good sign. my frd had a bad experience 3 weeks ago.

Congratzz!! UR So lucky that ur out of AP hell!!....THe embassy has sent your passport to Amex. Just wait for 2-3 days for them to call you. If you don't receive a call by Friday then give them a call on Friday morning and ask about it.
