  1. When all your requirements had been completed at the NVC, how look it was before they gave you your medical and interview appointment? was it weeks or months? Hoping for your reply.

Hi margaret! With my case, my fiance called the nvc abroad to check status of the packet that I should receive...we were advice then that it was sent to manila on March 6. We also asked our Case number.. the Mnlxxxxxxx. Once you have the case number, you may start the process -

    1. Pay visa fee. Download the deposit slip and go to bpi.

    2. Schedule visa interview appointment

    3. Go for medical exam. No need for appointment, unfortunately its a first come first serve basis so long lines are inevitable. What I did was answer pre registration just to skip the hassle of filing out on the day.you need to have an visa interview appointment before having medical.

Up to now I havent receive the packet. The call center agent told me that it really takes sometime. The packet consists of instructions, ds froms, and your case number. All these are downloadable online and of course your case number can be attained via nvc.

  3. We just finished our medical last Thursday and all I can advice is for you to bring the necessary documents which are posted on their website. Bring copies of each. If you have copy of immunizations or if you were sick and was confined more specifically lung problem, you should bring certification from your doctor what you had, medicines you took, operation made, results etc. everything that you need to report must be properly documented and must be certified by the physician. These documents would be very helpful for you. Otherwise, as long as you're healthy and not by any chance exposed to people that have lung problem then you're good to go. You will know everything on the second day. If they give you the immunization then it only means that you passed all the exams that were done. Don't forget to eat before leaving your house because food is not allowed there. Good luck!

Great great, thank you and good luck on your interview!
