I am following this thread because I have my interview in Montreal Dec 17 and trying to see what the chances are of receiving passport back by Dec 24.

I had my interview yesterday and by last night my status on CEAC showed as Issued and stated if you haven't received your visa in the next 5 days, please see here (with a link attached that doesn't work). I want to see how to track my package. Where do I find my waybill number? When I log into loomis it just shows me my basic information on there and no status or anything.

Thanks Saylin It's finally happening, after almost 2 yrs of marriage (slight exaggeration). I do realize that its Thanksgiving week. Hope it gets processed and approved the day of.

I don't know about recent data (hopefully some members can chime in), but just wanted to mention: that Thursday will be Thanksgiving, so the consulate will be closed. If you get approved and if they can issue the visa before Thursday and mail it out, then it's possible you can get to the US before Dec 4. But, there's never a guarantee.

By the way, jealous you get to go to Tampa!

Finally got an interview date for Montreal Nov 25. I was wondering how long does it take to get the passport back from Loomis after visa is approved. I just have something going on on Dec 4th and am wondering if I will have enough time to get to Tampa before then. Sorry, if this question has been asked before.

As I mentioned a few days ago about the major setback in our case. I phoned the NVC two more times and spoke with 2 different supervisors and they stated we had somehow enrolled in EP (without ever sending an enroll email in EP). Our package which was sent to them on Apr 12, they have no idea where it is. They stated it would be sent back to us when the rep looking at that packed pulls up our file because we're EP. Its really discouraging to see what's going on with our file. We approached our lawyers as well and they confirmed they never enroll anyone in EP and they certainly hadn't enrolled us.

Anyway, the question here is the NVC still hasn't returned our package with all the original documents and the papers dated 31/03/2014. However our lawyer has all the photocopies of the papers. Would that be ok to send in to the NVC? I am working on getting our original marriage certificate and birth certificate re-ordered to bring to the interview.

Any insight is appreciated.

Oh man that sucks. I'd check with your laywer today to make sure he DID NOT accidently optin for EP. Lawyers screw up quiet often, If he didn't I would call NVC back and ask to speak to a supervisor. You should be very close to a case complete if everything was sent in on the 11 of April, Sorry to see youre going through this.

I checked with the lawyer and they never opted for EP and never sent the ENROLL email. They're contacting the NVC at this point. I'm feeling very discouraged. I did do the online DS-260. Does this automatically enroll someone in EP? Would you know?

I'm off to a bad start today. I called the NVC last night to see what was the status of our case and the rep stated that they were waiting on everything to be sent in as our case was enrolled for EP. My lawyer never opted for EP and the package was sent in on Apr 11. They stated the package would now be returned and we would need to scan and send the documents in. I decided to call again this morning and speak with another rep at the NVC who told me the exact same thing. Have you heard of this happening. Our Fed Ex package was received at the NVC and signed by someone G. Peters. I'm panicking right now as I don't know what to do. My lawyer said they would follow up but again, at this point if you have any insight, please share.

I am wondering if someone can estimate how many days/weeks does it take for NVC to complete case from the day the packet was received by them. Ours was received on Apr 11, 2014. I called NVC last night and they stated it takes around 30 business days. Is that true? And if so, how long of a wait approximately is it until the interview (in Montreal) once the case is completed.

I'm worried because I have a vacation planned in mid-June and don't want the interview date to clash with it.

Does this packet come to the beneficiary. We have an attorney helping us with the apps. I was wondering who would be notified. Do they also send an email? At this point, I'm trying to track where my case with the NVC maybe and what sort of a timeline should I be following. I'm just worried because I have a vacation planned in June and just in case the interview comes then, I'm not sure what to do...

I would update the address. Also, you would be notified of an interview date at any point now. I'm sort of following your timeline as my case has just reached NVC (all docs) and I'm a little worried as to when my case complete/interview date may be. I have a vacation planned in June and I just hope its nowhere around that time. Could you let us know what date your interview is scheduled for once you know?

Its sort of a repeat question but I'm trying to figure out what my attorney is saying. We havet he DS-260 available online however, we're not completing it as we're waiting on a checklist to come in for the lawyer with a bar code. Is anyone familiar with it. The lawyer is asking us to hold off on completing the online DS-260 until that happens. If this is the case, does anyone have an idea of when to expect this checklist to be emailed?

Finally got assigned a case number and IIN# today. I informed the lady that I'd had an address change. She stated she couldn't make any changes and asked me to call back in a few days. Has anyone ever run into such a thing? I also have an attorney helping with the application.

I had a quick question about the PCC. I was born in India but hold Canadian citizenship. I lived in India for 5 months after my 16th birthday at which point I moved to the US under my parent's work visa as they were working in the US. I moved to Canada when I was 21 after having resided in the US for approx 5 yrs. Do I need a PCC from India and would I need a PCC from the US. I know I need one from Canada....

Thank you so much! I was worried I had missed some mail. Do you know what the next steps after the approval are? I'm contemplating going to the US for 3 months to see my husband as my work contract is coming to an end. And I'm not sure if its the best thing to do seeing I'm nearing the end of this process and not knowing what the next steps are.

We were transferred to CSC on Jan 8, 2013. Not sure how to edit this in my timeline. I do have a question though, I'm in Canada and I'm going to have a change of address in the next month or so. I've been out of the country for the last 3 months and not sure what all mail I've missed even though I did have a forwarding address. My husband received the transfer notice in Florida, but would USCIS be mailing me anything? Also, once its approved...does anyone know what the next steps are and how long approximately it takes to get an interview? Is the approval notice the NOA2 and does the US Citizen receive it?

Does anyone have any idea on how bad the likely government shutdown could have on our applications? This is just going from bad to worse if a shutdown occurs before the new facility even starts operating!!!

There is a May filer who posted today and said on talking to Tier2,they learned that their file got touched on Aug 29th

Does file being touched today mean they were issued their NOA2?

Just trying to keep facts straight. We've got so few of them to work with, why not? Kansas will be "going" by the end of this month per the May 2013 AILA meeting notes.

Alaskafan mentioned it in the previous page of this very thread, and i quote "It also appears, based on the notes of conference between the AILA (http://www.aila.org/) and USCIS, that the Overland Park facility will not be operational until the end of September, if they hit their target."
