In order to see if the USCIS touched your file, you gonna have to sign up for a case updates first. Then, login to your account, input your case receipt number, add your case to your portfolio, then, there you'll see the "last updated" date. That shows they touched your case and they are working on it. Follow this link on signing up for a case updates.

Thanks for the info. I wish we could see that but since uscis never entered our case in the automated system, we are in the dark. Trust me, I speak with a tier 2 officer regularly because of this system glitch. But they are always so evasive and scripted with answers. Best wishes!

Do you have already a case number sent to you when you got this NOA1? That is the one you need to register in your portfolio for case updates. You will be the one to sign up in order for them to update you on your email or phone. Hope it helps...
