I got the same letter in June.... waiting.... maybe you could help me with filing AP. Is visiting Family a good enough reason? I dont have children...
And sorry you did not get to see yours for so long... that is just cruel :-(

We just got married and I want to take my hubby's last name.
Yet I would like to keep my name as a second middle name, now I am wondering if that will also be accepted with the German authorities?
I still have a German passport and wont be naturalized before 5 years from now....
Anybody has experience with that?
Thank you
-
I am confused too. Anybody with experience. What do I send as proof of relationship?
-
I am so sorry for you. That is a difficult situatin you in.
Maybe try a mind game. What if you were still at home in your country and that would have happened (I mean if you both lived in the samecp country and none of you were an alien?)
Also, as you posted this, what kind of answer were YOU hoping for? Your heart already knows, what you are trying to read here.
I wish you the courage to listen to yiur heart and the strenghf to go through this, which ever may be your path
Good luck.

Hi!
http://www.germany.info/Vertretung/usa/de/04__Konsulatfinder/HK/00/__Honorarkonsuln.html
Hier findest du alles, was du an Papieren brauchst:

Danke fuer eure Hilfe, :-)

I finally was able to speak to a T2 officer today, and I don't think I've ever been spoken to like that in my life. My NOA1 is March 1, transfer to TSC on 7/10. So technically I am a few days under the 5 month estimate, but with all these approvals left and right for other transfers, many of which aren't updating to the USCIS website I just wanted to check on mine. It's a simple inquiry and I was extremely polite. She literally yelled at me for calling, essentially yelled at me for even applying for a K1 visa. I'm just shocked.
wow!!!, sorry to hear that
-
Oh ok that makes sense.
I am a March CSC straggler left behind but cant call for 4 weeks
oh, me too, still waiting. let me know if you call and what's going on.
My fiance is going to call even though we are March filers, but due to his job he wont be able to call before end of next week....l

Hey hello . i received a RFE regarding the letter of marry from both of us and i sent it ,,,,,Now i am waiting for my NOA2 ....... Have you heard anything yet?
nope, no RFE, just the same Status on the USCIS page, since March ....
-
Thank you for sharing. Did you end up filing a service request? I saw your other post. I filed in March and my file is at CSC and I see random approvals even from June files.... also I checked numbers up and down from mine.... same here
-
March 27 NOA1 here, CSC, and... silence. So frustrating.
I know! Have you tried calling USCIS yet?
-

ooohhhh! Hope rhey get to our files soon...
-
yay!
thank you for posting and happy for you
-
hi, what is going on with the CSC? I have seen many April and later approvals, yet there is still a big amount of earlier filers.
Any march filers around? Mine was March 15.
Any body tried calling USCIS? Any luck?
My fiance will try calling them once he is back from his assignment (he works on wildland fire, thats why he is not in town). do you think that helps? What is that thing with asking for a tier2?
I hope for all of us to get a fast approval
-
oh, i hope for you.
for me all the filers with numbers around me are approved already. two weeks ago.. just mine seems to be idling around
-
yes we did try contacting 2 senators, a congresswoman, the uscis ombudsman, filed an erequest 2nd time now (coz the first one already passed the 30 day mark and we still didnt get a noa2), my fiance already called the uscis several times and wrote even president obama, to no avail.....we are at our wit's end as it is. we only got touched on june 15 with a message that our address has changed (when we never req for an address change)
sorry to hear that guys. Unbelievable!
This is so frustrating...
I wish you good luck and blessings!
-
Oh geee I am feeling soooo blue. I know here are people with way longer wait times.... but I just can't help it.
I just checked all the WAC receipt numbers around me and seems like numbers higher and lower have ALL been adjudicated already two weeks ago. Only our file seems to not have been touched at all!! I can't believe it. Can I do anything? Should I call the USCIS (it has not been 5 month yet....) ?
I want to plan our wedding, I want to finally live with my maaan (and future husband), I want to start my new live....
I know I am whining around... it is just so frustrating...

Hi erverybody,
I just found this link in another thread it is a former USCIS adjucator explaining the process - it is a bit older but i think sitll accurate

I think yours will come soon. It probably just means that yours was set aside on the adjuctator's desk for a bit while going through easier ones. It's known that they do that regularly.
Thank you.
I hope and Wish for all of us!
