My mother-in-law would rather have a B-2 Visa then a green card. She doesn't want to live here.  But with B-2 denial, the only other alternative left is green card.

My mother in law was denied B2 Visa few months ago, will tray again later this year, have no hope for it but just want to give it a try. My wife will become citizen next year. If we apply for green card for her next yera, will having two B2 Visa denials on record will affect her green card chances?

They gave my husband a stamp a couple months ago (about 60 days before expiration of letter) without any problem, we just had to explain that he is switching jobs and needs it as proof that he can work. Many people here got the stamp several months before expiration.

 

Keep in mind that you don't need the stamp to keep your actual status, it is really only necessary if you are traveling internationally, renewing your driver's license, changing jobs, or need to show proof of status for any other official reason. They may also take away your green card, so make sure you have a copy.

Hey guys, I'm a late 2017 filer, I just have a question about extension after 1 year GC paper expiration, did you guys go to your local office within 45 days of expiration and were able to get an extension on the spot? This is what USCIS told me do. Just looking for experiences. 

So, what's the next step after the Biometrics appointment?

Received my letter. But when I went to make an appointment with Hyd. medical location, they said I have to send an e-mail to make an appointment. I did send an e-mail but this is so infuriating. Anyone faced this issue?

My wife is in kerala.. She called directly to the authorized physician hospital/office in Kerala and got an appt. They also mentioned the required documents which are same as the provided instructions by US consulate Mumbai - Use the link below for the instructions:

I got an interview date! Oct. 1. at 7:30AM! I promised myself last week I wouldn't call NVC until I see Mumbai users scheduled for interview date and that's what I did. I saw Mumbai people being scheduled and called just now.

I've been calling everyay for the past week, but nothing. I'm not gonna call from today until I see some interviews being scheduled here.

i got CC in July15^th and still no interview. But somebody got interview date with CC on July 22 for India. How is that possible.?

We are in a similar boat man, my CC is July 16th.

I know I answered this. New Delhi is slow its nothing like scheduling at Mumbai. The wait currently is about 3 to 4 months after case complete. So realistically. August CC is looking at maybe December interviews.

Not feeling the love from Mumbai either, coming up on two months soon since CC.

We Indians are being left out of this scheduling party

I called no interview yet for me. My CC is July 16. Congrats to all those who got interview scheduled.

Keep calling until you can speak to a supervisor, that's how you can get a case complete as it's been very long for your case.
