Pls what number do you use in checking your status,.. Let me learn

i had my interview yesterday 9-25-2013. i checked my visa status at CEAC this morning around 11AM and it was under AP status. after less than an hour, i checked again and says ISSUED (Sept. 26, 2013). i also checked my passport and it says STILL AT POST. i am happy that the visa got issued already but was just wondering if it is normal for USEM to process a visa so quick? i mean, it's like 24hrs after my interview, it was issued already??????

What number do you use in checking it??

Nigeria doesn't use DS 157 forms

1. That PDF is the packet 3 for instructions and 156/156k

2. Do police clearance and medical's it will take you just 1wk,,. Police clearance u'll get same day and medical's u'll get in 2days

3. Police is 5k and medical's at children practice Ikeja is 12k to zenith bank and 8500 for vaccine.

Yes, 12,000 for the exam and 19,000 for the shots he required. If it was too much, oh well, we got lucky on the police clearance do I guess it all evens out.

Police clearance was 5k I paid, everything both medical's and police I didn't spend up to 30k

I told him to ask for a copy of the DS2035. Seems like I read that somewhere that he needs it in the states for something. But they told him that they don't do that. Anyone know about this? Also... They said to come Thursday to pick up the results. I thought the exam took two days. This is his first day. And for those about to go for the exam, he said there are two doctors and the ones going into one of those rooms are paying 20,000 - 26,000 naira and the ones called into the other room are paying about 31,000 naira. He paid 31,000 and needed shots. Just some info for others who may want to know. But I do want to know about the DS2035 if anyone knows.

First, Yes Lagos accepts co-sponsors on a k1 no problem.

Yes, you will need a co-sponsor. You do not meet the poverty guideline.

You need to make $19334 for 2 people in household.

Go to the Interview reviews for lagos and read up on questions and what its like. very helpful.

My interview is this month and we are trying to know if lagos embassy accepts co-sponsor for K1 visas & will the co-sponsor form be form I-134,... He makes annually $13700 will that be enough to sponsor someone or we should go on with the co-sponsorship. Thanks for your answers and any recent approval from lagos should pls help me with some of the co questions Lol!

NVC typically gives 4 months, as I recall...but I don't see anything to worry about in your case. Embassies can (and do) extend the validity period for the approved petition for "valid" reasons. Your reason is about as valid as it gets. After you receive your NVC case number...you should write to the Embassy using the case number in the subject line...and explain the reason you need more time...maybe an additional 2 months? I have heard that extensions are often granted in 4 month increments.

Best to keep calling NVC to get the case number. They usually have it ready 12-15 days after petition approval from what I have seen in recent cases.

So can my fiance send down documents yet? and we planned on co-sponsor cos his working part-time and a student but been working with same company since 2007 now just that no enough fund in his account. Do you know specific amount 2 be able 2 sponsor someone and also do lagos accept co-sponsor( our friend that's a nurse)... Reply

Am october 2012 filer our case stayed almost 10 months b4 approval on July 1st we thank God! we haven't heard from NVC yet for our case #. I have from July - October b4 our K1 petition expires and Nigerian embassy uses 3months to schedule interview from the country portal timeline I have seen so far.

Please I need advice for next step now while I wait on NVC, can my fiance send me all the document yet? Or is NVC going to still send him a letter by mail? Do I really need the letter from NVC or is just the USCIS approval note I need!!!

Am october 2012 filer, we got approve on 1st july but haven't received Case #. from NVC is (10 working days now) what should we do? and we were given till october b4 our K1 approval expires. Nigerian consulate takes like 3mnths to book appointment, am so angry @ NVC for the delay pls any help or explanation on the next step while I wait 4 NVC,.... Thanks

We just replied our RFE (letter of intent & Form G-352A)last month 3 June 2013, and we didn't notarize but we got approved 2nd July.

Maybe the lawyer should verify well

wow! you filed a month ahead from mine. we got our NOA2 on May. You need to wait for the case number, two weeks after we got the NOA2 the NVC emailed my fiancé for our new case number and on the same date they also sent our file to the embassy. But most people here called the NVC to get their case number. And two weeks after the embassy received the file, The embassy emailed me the packet 3. You'll know what to prepare when you get the packet 3.

I guess after a long wait we can't afford to mess it up now! Thanks guys,.... The RFE will expire August so we still got time.

I can sign my fiancee's signature very well and we just received RFE for form G-352a and letter of intent,.. Can I sign and complete the form? We are trying to send in the reply on time the long waiting is too much and sending letters from Nigeria could be another delay.

Thanks guys, we got the RFE less than a week the second one was sent on 14th May. It says we should provide form G-325A, letter of intent and passport.

The beneficiary (my fiancee) is sending her info from Nigeria and I was asking if i should send it back with the DHL receipt to show authentic sending from beneficiary or it's not required?

Well we already know where our problem is our letter of intent that's if is actually necessary, Passport photos and our form G-325A. We are 2012 october filers after 7months they are still delaying us arrrrrrghh!!!

We checked our status online and it said USCIS mail a Request for Evidence to my fiance on 30th april, so last week he called USCIS and the guy confirmed the update. We hv waited for 2 whole week with nothing then he called back today only for the lady that picked to say that our RFE was actually mailed today 14th April.

So we re confused what could be the problem are we receiving double RFE or is devil just delaying our process cos am already freaking out
