As I am filling our I-134 I have a question. I received a job offer a few weeks ago as a nurse (I just graduated). I received my offer letter and everything however I won't be starting until September-October so in filling out the I-134 do I list that as my employment and send the offer letter???

Oh no Angelina! Thanks for the heads up. I will contact the Embassy and confirm they have it. Our interview is already scheduled for August 5th. I want to make sure they have it before I make travel plans. Glad I read that, because I was going to buy plane tickets today.
Did you email the embassy or call them?
-
So I was wondering how do consulates assign interview dates...was hoping there is some algorithm, smiles!!!
-
Yesterday my case was In transit. I tried to track my case today and it says Your search did not return any data
Can you recheck because I just checked mine...yesterday it was "in transit" and now it says "ready" and wait for our date from the consulate!!!
-
On the "in transit" notice it says an interview date was provided for you by the NVC. What does that mean and how to know the date or do we just wait? thnaks!

Don't forget to upload your timelines everyone

Hi all:
For all the July 9-11th transfers to NVC I just received my case number from NVC...NOA2 June 20th and transferred to NVC July 9th...I just called them at 10:00EST. So for all those who called earlier you might want to try calling back now or late evening tomorrow. She was really nice and I asked how long before they ship it and she said K1s are typically expedited cases so ASAP!
Cheers!
-
It's 3 months...some folks waited 7 months...it's coming!!!
-
Has anyone called for numbers since receiving the notice that the petitions were sent to the NVC?
-
Send it ASAP because you WILL be denied!!! Someone else did the same thing and didn't send in additional documents and was denied...hurry up!!!
-
we have the same NOA2. Anyone else got that notice?
Yes mine was on July 9th got the email around 11 PM
-
I did answer No. I was just wondering if that means they sent me a RFE ...
No they asked the same when I submitted mine and I was approved already...maybe it's to further distinguish the requests and how they prioritize answering them
-
Anyone else having trouble sleeping at night, waiting for the NOA? I feel like the clock starts at 9 p.m., and every minute that I don't get that email, I'm just getting more and more anxious, until like 10:00 a.m. the next morning. Ugh.
Had this happen to me I stayed up all night one night just praying and praying...I was so drained. But your time is coming...stay strong!!!
-
I'll be waiting to read about approvals tonight
-
Anytime after 9pm seems to be the time to look out for...
-
Simon_yw: Im a 12/17 filer too. I was told to wait by next week.. they said by Wednesday of this upcoming week.. but I will give it up to Friday. Since we have the same dates, we both might get an approval next week. Just wait. I will post any additional info for the 12-17 filers. Keep your faith up!
I think within a 3 day span those with similar NOA1 dates get approved. Some people with DEC4-5th got approved on Mon-Wed while our case which is DEC4th got approved on Thur.

I know how you guys who didn't get approved yet feel. I was that person last night; couldn't sleep stayed up looking at my phone all night waiting for an alert that never came until tonight. But I prayed and left it to a higher power. I also went through all the conversations, cards, emails I have ever had with my SO and it was like we were getting to know each other all over again. I learned so many new things that way about both of us. That helped keep me sane this past week. I know it's touch guys but hang in there and remember "long is not forever" and vent as much as you feel necessary whether you didn't see your loved one in 1 month or 1 year it doesn't matter...hoped these words helped somewhat!!!

jessie_P,
I just noticed that my responses are from different Service Centers. First one from Texas and last one from Vermont.
Hmm...
No one knows what's going on at this point...My case is from DEC4th and hasn't even been touched since the transfer. I sent in my packet since November so my frustration is mounting...

I just received response on my recent inquiry and it really confuses me. What kind of notice they talk about? Does it mean I am getting RFE after 6 1/2 months of wait? Did anyone got similar response on case inquiry?
Here it is:

Hey I got a response to my service request I submitted on TUE but it is different from this mine says:

-- Outside Normal Processing Times
The status of this service request is:
You or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your petition to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Looking at this it doesn't really give much information to be honest...

Miss my fiance so much I want to cry...

IO was rude anyways. I submitted a service request and a typographical error request. Does this slow down the adjudication process she is saying wait 30 days before she can submit another request for my case. How long did you guys' service request take?
-
I heard I should hear something within the next week... ! I just got an emailllll!!! I hope that means an approval is on its way guys... !
Hey How did you know this did you do a service request and if so how long did it take to get back to you
3 years of tax returns for I-134 affidavit?

You can request your tax transcripts for free from the irs.gov website; just enter a few lines of information. It comes in the mail within a week. Ten minutes will get you all three years tax returns if you want to be conservative and have them all for the interview.
