Guys, Alhamdolillah, CEAC shows issued!!!!!!!!!

My husband's interview was in october 2012. Our case did not update at all until November 2013 unless I emailed them. Upon emailing, they told me to resubmit medical etc. at the end of September. Our case updated on 5th November (that's when they received our documents), then on 20th, 21st, 28th, 29th november, 2nd december and 5th december and finally on 6th it showed ISSUED alhamdolillah!!!!!

I had totally lost hope since our case was not being updated at all but thanks Allah Almighty, it says issued now. We will pick up my husband's passport as soon as we get the call from AMEX!!

my husband has been in AP for 8 months too :( it's just sooo hard not knowing how much longer it's going to take.

Husband is in AP for Eight loong months. Inshallah Allah will help all of us.

pak143, you are lucky your status changes...mine only changes when I send them an email :( otherwise my status update is still Dec 12 2012 (that's when it updated on its own)

i've stopped asking for updates now. it's just too depressing

they update status each time they reply to our inquiry; but for me I have noticed that whenever they even read my email, they update the status date and don't even reply back!

Hey guys i have a couple of questions!

First off, my husband is in AP since October as well. I totally feel everyone's pain :( We were asked to submit one other document that we submitted by the end of November and like everyone else we were told to wait 90 days before contacting them. I was in Pakistan at the time of interview and when I came back to the US that is at the end of January, I emailed ISL embassy letting them know of my whereabouts. I emailed again yesterday since it was past 90 days since the submission of our documents. But each time I email them (3 times so far), my case status update on CEAC date changes...so I think each time they look at my email my status updates...and they don't even reply back anymore! I'm just so frustrated Does your case update too when you send them an email?

Also, at the time of the interview, I was given all my originals back including our wedding pictures (they kept our police certificates and passport)...is that normal to return our pictures too? The CO was satisfied with everything though, we were just told its a routine process and ask us after 90 days if the case is moving forward or not...BUT NO REPLY FROM THEM!!
