  1. I sent it certified and I have the tracking email of USPS showing the date and time they have received it.

Then I recommend you to document your USPS information well and make an infopass appointment. Take your passport and the other documents with you as you would for getting an I-551 stamp. Either they tell you that your file is with them or not. If they have your file, they should give you a stamp after such long time without NOA. If they don't have your file, ask the officer how you should proceed with your application, to not pay double and to not be rejected because of late filing. Your USPS information should show that a mistake was made on their side.

As they didn't cash your check you won't get any stamp in your passport. I had an infopass appointment 2-3 weeks ago and i was told exactly what i mentioned. You still need to have an appointment with an immigration officer...i mean that i will do...I asked what it will happen if the check won't be cash and their 90 days( the time they need to process the application) will expire and i was told i have to reapply....

I applied on august 31 and they didn't cash the check yet....i reapplied on sept 16 and still nothing....

I thought i was the only one unlucky....

Don't leave the infopass appointment without to have all your answers...as i did....maybe you should write them down...

    Good luck!

  2. Yep, it took about a month for me to get my NOA as well.

They didn't cash my check yet....:((

    I'm so upset.

They just got your I-751 a few days ago. Your check most likely won't cash until 3rd week of November.

I sent my first application in sept 31 and the second in oct 16, but i never clear the first check.....i'm playing a risky game( with my money) checking every single day my bank account. When one check will be cashed i will cancel the other one....

  3. Btw, are you alowed to work in US if your GC expired? How long after you applied for removing condition?

    Good luck everybody!

Yup, it states on your NOA1 that you are authorized to work for another year. Ideally, you should receive your NOA1 before your green card expires. You still will probably receive it by that time even though you resubmitted your I-751 (though it may be close).

Well, i sent 2 applications but i never canceled the first check. I have to check my account every single day and when they will cash one of the checks i will cancel the other. The idea is that i lost my first post office receipt and i couldn't prove that i sent my application....It's odd what i did but i have my feelings and worries.....Anyway, somebody from immigration gave me this advice....it's good, it's bad....who knows....it's risky though, because i can loose money.

    Good luck !

  4. I really have to join this club. I sent my petition(I-751) on aug 31, they've got it on sept 2nd and until now they even didn't cash the check....So, 2 days ago i decided to send again the pestition and they've got it this morning.....I also had an infopass appointment last friday and, sure, they couldn't stamp my passport cause i don't have a receipt.....I'm waiting still.....

    Am i the biggest looser?

Sorry -- far from it! Did you know that petitions sent to TSC are now being transferred to CSC, and it can take over a month for them to cash your check (actually, it seems to take that amount of time for the petition to make it from TSC to CSC, which then more or less promptly cashes the check)? This does seem to be a bit longer than usual, but you still may have acted hastily in resending the petition to TSC (which will now take another month to send it to CSC).

The bottom line is only people who sent their petitions to TSC before July 1 -- which is when TSC started transferring them to TSC -- can be TSC Losers®, because we're still stuck waiting at TSC while the people who filed at TSC months after us have already been approved because their petitions were transferred to and processed by CSC. Even with this delay, you will still be approved far quicker than any of us genuine TSC Losers® will be . . . .

I'm sorry, i didn't know the bottom line....anyway i consider i'm totally unlucky.....i'm a looser....It's weird....there are people who sent the application after me and their check was cashed before me........I don't want anything else in this moment, just to clear that check:((

  6. helloo!

i have a question: how did you send your application? Priority mail, express mail or how?

First time i sent my petition priority mail, and USCIS received it in 2 days. The second time (mean yesterday) i sent it express mail and, tracking the number i've got this message :

We attempted to deliver your item at 11:31 AM on October 17, 2007 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Where is that PO BOX? In the middle of nowhere?

  7. One more question, please....you said "get them to check with the service center...." . What they can find out more than i can find out over the phone calling 1-800-...?....mean nothing.... I was told that if they didn't start to process my application, they didn't modify anything in their computer about my record, so in this moment is like i didnt apply for any I-751. Is not like they know where is the file i sent them....

  8. Thanks alot for your answers. I read everything (before) from Uscis site, actually from everywhere. I understood they are overload but they really can't chash that check? I'm not able to work, to sleep because them. It pass to much time....i didn't find anybody in the same situation, to pass more than 1 month without the check to be cashed...I think asking for NOA, biometrics or GC is too much in this moment....

I have an appointment now...i will travel 3 hours to find an answer. Do you think i should have ready all the copies of the documents?

  9. They've got it, i sent it by priority mail, but my mistake.....i didn't keep the post office receipt...i mean i lost it.....and pretty soon i will be over the legal period and they didn't do anything, they even didn't cash that check. What about if they lost my aplication or something like this.....how can i prove that i sent the papers? I have only the check as a proof, no receipt and the copies from all the evidence of our marriage.

  10. Hellooo!

I'm very worried. I sent my I-751 on aug 30th, they've got it on sept 2nd but the check never been cashed. I called Uscis twice. First time they told me to wait 90 days and after to call back, because they are very busy. The second time they told me to wait until oct 15th and if i don't get any good news to send the application again. My conditional GC expires in 11 days. What should i do?

    Please help me!
