Hi! I just had my oath taking for naturalization last March 10. Is it possible to update my status at the SSA online, or it does it have to be done in person?

No, you don't need to. I did that route, too, although I still brought my marriage certificate and tax transcripts on the day of the interview. IO didn't ask for proof, although she asked if I failed to file income tax return during the past 5 years. My interview was yesterday, and I got approved. Oath taking tomorrow.

Hi! I'm almost done filling up the N-400 form. So far I have have uploaded the following:

1. GC

2. Marriage certificate

About to request IRS transcripts for the past 5 years. 

Is there anything else that I need to submit? I am married to a USC via K-1, but did not apply for N-400 during my 3rd year as LPR.

Thanks for all the info here...I just checked online and see the status changed for me "card is being produced"...the status change date was yesterday, 11/22/16!

No need to include all 70K+ messages. In our experience we only selected some messages that would represent the duration of our ongoing relationship. All in all maybe we just printed 3-4 pages of emails/FB messages.

I am a 4/29 filer and just submitted an inquiry as well. I will expect an answer by 12/12/2016. I am giving them until end of this year before I step it up

Hang in there. I also submitted a case inquiry and the confirmation said to expect an answer by Dec. 10. Just got notification today that my new card is being produced. Yours might just come in soon!

Congrats to those who got approved! I was able to submit a case inquiry today (last weekend I tried but it said my case was still within the normal processing time). Hopefully more will get approved in the next few days. Our NOA1 date is April 5.

Guys, do you carry your original NOA letter with you all the time or just a copy?

I think CA DMV goofed up here...!!! They gave her a 5-yr driving license expiring in 2018. But shhhhhh....don't tell any one....

How fortunate of her! My DL expires on June 11. I already sent my documents to CA DMV last May 1 and there was proof pf receipt. I called DMV a couple of weeks ago and they said DMV should be coordinating with USCIS and that I should just wait for them to send me something. Haven't received anything from DMV to this day. I'll just go to their office on Friday. Hopefully this thing thing will be resolved, or maybe I'll get something from them before Friday.

Looks like CSC is going through Deceber 2015 cases right now...So April 2016 CSC applicants should be expecting about Sep or October 2015 time frame. Fingers crossed...

Planning to. Although I must admit I was hoping somebody here could give me some information. Trying to avoid calling DMV because the last time I did, it was hard to get through and when I did, I had to wait a long time.

I got a letter from DMV a few weeks ago regarding my DL Limited Term Extension. I sent them by mail (with proof of delivery on May 2, 2016) the form the sent together with a copy of my NOA1 stating that my legal presence has been extended for a year. What's the next step? Do I need to personally go to DMV to get an extension of my DL (which expires June 11, 2016), or would the DMV be sending me something?

I just packed my clothes, some books and souvenirs. I was an expat living in the Bahamas before I moved here to the US. Most of my stuff I sold in a yard sale, a lot I gave away to friends too. I didn't ship anything. My then fiance went with me so we had extra baggage allowance.

Had my biometrics today. Arrived an hour earlier but they accommodated us. It took us about 45 minutes.

Quick question -- my driver's license expires on same expiration date of conditional green card. Do I just bring the extension letter to DMV to get an extension for my license as we'll?

Correct. Put the date of the NOA, not the date when you received it.

How fast do they usually cash the check?

In our case, within a week.

So I got my NOA which states that my residency has been extended for one year. I'm assuming the one year extension starts on the date of GC expiration, not on the NOA date. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
