Gathering bits and pieces from here and immigration web site, I think she needs to apply for removal of conditions...then her 10 year green card... The as long as she has been in USA 3 years she can apply for citizenship... I think she must give up Philippines citizenship for this, then reapply for Philippines to be a dual citizen.
What kind of costs are involved?

Is my wife eligible for US citizenship after 3 years living in the US and coming here on a fiancé visa?
She is from the Philippines, we married within the first 90 days and she received her green card about 1 year later. 6 months after her 3 year anniversary in the US, her green card will expire. I think it might be better to apply for citizenship than a 10 year green card. Does anyone have some insight on this?

My two stepchildren just arrived to the US from the Philippines. Do they need a Social Security number or can they even apply for one?
They are age 10 & 8.

with reference to Form I-864A, Part 5,
It reads as follows
I, THE SPONSOR __________________ (print name) in consideration of the household member's promise to support the following intending immigrant(s) and to be jointly and severally liable for any obligations I incur under the affidavit of support, promise to complete and file an affidavit of support on behalf of the following _____________ (indicate number) named intending immigrant(s) (see Step-by-Step instructions)
Which number are they asking for ?
Do I put the intended immigrants MNL number?
Or simply the number one?
Or both?
Also in part 6,
It reads as follows:
I, the household member, ________________ (print name) in consideration of the sponsors promise to complete and file an affidavit of support on behalf of the above __________(number from line 13) named intending immigrant.
What number are they asking for?
Do I put the intended immigrants MNL number?
Or simply the number one?
Or both?

Could it be because my current taxes are married filing jointly?
However again they had never asked for the I-864A form before.

Why at the last minute a week before the interview when the medical is all done are they saying they want an I-864A?
This form was never mentioned any time prior to this.

Who needs to fill out and I-864A?
Myself and my wife are submitting an I-130 for my wife's children in the Philippines.
I am the US citizen and have supplied an affidavit of support I 864.
My income alone is more than sufficient for the requirement of her two children and their mother.
However we filed a joint tax return in 2014 where she contributed an income of $2400. That small amount was not needed in order for my income to be sufficient.
My question is do we need to supply an I-864A contract between sponsor and household member form as well as the I-864?

Hello everyone I am a US citizen and I brought my now wife live to the US under a K-1 visa process. She has applied for AOS and is now waiting for permanent residence. She has her temporary card for working and travel in and out of the United States. My wife has two children in the Philippines one 6 years old and one 10. I want to petition them to come to the US to live with us and I am very confused on how to begin. We listed them on the k1 visa application and we are under the one-year limit for bringing them here. My question is where do I begin, what form do I start with, how much is the fee an where can I find an outline for the whole process? Thank you for any help anyone may have. Scott

Hello,
I came to the US with a K1 Visa. I have married my fiance' and am now filling out the I-765 form. I am also still within my 90 days of being in US.
For question 16 do I put in ©(9) or (A)(6)?
Sorry I am confused. Thank you for your help.

My fiancé had her interview last week and status on the immigrant visa application went to "administrative processing". Today it went too "ready" and says your case is ready for interview when scheduled. I am assuming we do not need to schedule another interview. Can anybody tell me if they have experienced this before. Do I need to schedule another interview? Or do I wait for the next notice of issued?? Please help!

Congrats My fiancé and I are waiting... interview was six days ago and all was good Anticipation is killing me...

We are in the same boat... we had medical earlier than you but immunizations on the 22nd before our interview on the 24th. They did not have us fill out the 221g form but said that they will wait for results of medical and immunizations and then we will receive an email. They took our passport at the time and now we are waiting. We pray that we will hear something this week, but more realistically 10 days. from what I hear if they took your passport like they did ours then you are approved; but will have to wait for medical results and them to review case again like everybody else and then you will get an email for pick up. If anybody else has any information about this or any insight please let us know. God bless us all and I will pray for everyone.

Can a person apply for their 10 year green card before the last 90 days before it expires? Seems it takes many people extended periods of time to complete and their 2 year expires in the mean time.
