    Hey Preethy,

    Here is a work around which i found to login and update the profile.

    Few weeks ago i sent an email to Ustraveldocs customer care regarding a doubt abt PCC, i got an auto response to that email with subjectline "Your US Travel Documents Customer Portal username and password is enclosed" ,

    which had my username and temporary pwd in it. I just rem'bered that and tried to use it to login and it worked. It asked me to update my password later i updated my profile info with passport details, address etc and got the confirmation too which was asked to be present at the interivew. The thing is, i wanted to see if the passport could be delivered to home address, but they only have the PICKUP option ( read in some posts that we need to pay money at the embassy after interview if we want it to be delivered to home, could be the case).

    hey thats fine, dont worry abt it. I was a bit busy lately and did not try to create one.

    My interview is on sept 3rd at 11:00 AM, I just tried to create a new login and i got the below error, is this the same you have been seeing since few weeks?

    Error: Your request cannot be processed at this time. The site administrator has been alerted.

    yes our intvw is scheduled for sep 05th 11am,dont see it on their website,the list for sep seems shorter than august so hoping that they r goin to update.

    by what time should i get to the embassy for a 11am interview?

    Ya, looks like they will update the list by end of this month. My interivew is on sep 3rd at 11:00 AM, i am not sure when exactly we have to be there, nothing is mentioned in the interview letter either. I was planning to go an hour before the interivew time.. may be 10:00 ish..

    Just used the visajourney method of finding out whether our NVC packet (with orginal documents) had reached the embassy or not. It looks like it just got to the Mumbai Consulate today (or tomorrow morning if DHL didnt deliver it today). They should update interview dates once all the September interviewee documents come in

    Could you please let me know how to check the shipping status of our documents?

    Couldn't find our case no. posted either for September 13th. Panicked a bit, but I think they are going to update the list. The list seems too short compared to the August list or even the July list.

    I asked my wife to contact the embassy and confirm with them just in case. Will let you guys know if I hear of an update. All of us just want this last leg of the journey to be smooth, so I can understand the alarm bells going off every time something is out of order. Hang in there!

    I am not sure if any of you have your interview from Mumbai Consulate, but i just saw that mumbai consulate September interview schedule is posted in there site and i do not see my case number in that list and wanted to check with you guys if you have your case number in there? Below is the link of the website

    I got my interview email from NVC with interivew date as Sep 3rd 11:00 AM, but i don't see my case number in the website list

    You as well as a few others updated your timeline wrong. It shows your interview is in October.

    Should be 2013-09-03

    I see a few others updated that they have their interviews in October. I am wondering if they made a mistake or are they really giving out October dates????

    thanks, just correct it. Not sure how did it change?, i am sure that i selected sep.. or may be i was overwhelmed with my interview date.. anyways.. thanks and good luck everyone..

    We got interview for Sep 24th 11am.

    We received our P4 as well at 1:44am EST. It was an exciting night for sure and woke up to a confirmation email.

    Thanks again everyone and dwheels76, it feels amazing to see the completed lines with dates each time you update the list haha.

    On another note, not sure about the 11am appointment date for Mumbai embassy, but calling the embassy should help in confirming when to actually reach there.

    congrats to you both too.. and abt 11:00 AM.. looks like there are quiet a few ppl with that timing.. may be mumbai consulate is working extra session to clear all the backlogs of june and july month.. which is very good.. i am waiting for the official list that would be posted on mumbai website soon so that we can see a lot at ppl with 11:00 AM...:)

    So my wife's interview is scheduled for september 16th at New Delhi Embassy. I am planning on going to India as well. Anyone here knows how long it will take to get passport back if i pick up at New Delhi pick up location. Thank you

    Received P4 letter on 07/30. Interview date 09/20.

    Congrats everyone.. Looks like our wait is over.. My interview date is on 09/03 at 11:00 AM.. i haven't seen anyone with 11:00 AM time before, usually its around 7:30 right? anyone of you seen something like this before?

    hey....

    i have a doubt....i knw two PCCs are required...one from the passport office and the other from the local police where you reside.....the local police one is valid for 6 months, just found dat out yesterday...mine has expired too...i think it will take a week to recieve it...

    Nope, As far i know, They only accept PCC issued by Passport Office. they do not ask for the one given by local police station anymore. And regarding the expiry date, it mentioned as 1 year valid in Packet IV instructions document posted on consulate website. I did email the consulate, and you know how they would reply...i was asking for PCC validity and the replied me saying that " looks like you want to know your application status, plz contact NVC "... now what should i say?

    Does anyone in here have mumbai consulate direct email id?, i send email to info@ustraveldocs.in and got the above reply..

    on Mumbai consulate site they have uploaded interview list for July and I found that between 12 to 28 there are no interview listed. There isn't anything on their site which says they are close. Lets say there is something wrong at Mumbai, but then what bout Delhi consulate? they are not even issuing dates for Delhi.

    good observation robinhood... they did not give any appointments between 07/12 and 07/28, i really can't understand whats wrong with them at all... delay.. delay... and delay......

    And also on other note, i saw a recent post in new delhi consulate review posted on July 5th saying that they were again asked for PCC even though the one submitted to NVC was just 6 months old... Its because of NVC delay our PCC is now more than 6 months old, do we have to get a new one again? I thought PCC is valid for 1 Year right? any idea on that?... link is below..

    I just got off the phone with NVC, no interview date yet, but came to know that though we got CC email on 07/08, our Case completed date is June 28th. So could you please update our row.. i will type it down for u, so that i would be easy for u to copy paste it.. thanks for ur help. I appreciate it.

    This is what I got this morning instead of my interview date. Yet again today no Interview date. I know I know I have to keep clam... People are waiting here since last month and I have no idea why NVC does not understand that we been through really painful journey to reach here and they are just pushing it beyond we can bare it.

    I recieved this email on 07/08, I thought the day we recieve this email would be our case complete date?, isn't it true? the actual date can it be earlier than that?
