Our 'proper wedding' isn't scheduled into October, and we haven't paid deposits on anything or sent our invitations for exactly the reason that you NEVER KNOW what could go wrong with the visa. That's why they advise you not to organise until you have your visa in hand. So GOOD LUCK!

I don't mean to put the fear of god into you, but if for some reason the processing centre suddenly starts processing very slowly (which is more than possible - just look at CSC) you're going to be in hot water. Oh my, I hope I can produce good news for you guys! Haven't seen much movement this week yet.. This visa thing is such a pain! And really astoundingly erratic. I'll update as soon as I hear anything! (Here's hope it's an NOA2 and not an RFE...)
