  1. Try calling the Juarez consulate and ask for info, there's is also a 703 number you can call, sorry don't know the numbers by heart but the number for the consulate is on the uscis website, once you call the answering machine gives you a 703 number regarding visas, have your nvc number ready with you to ask them for info. Hopefully they can give you info, also if there's a dhl office closer to you, you can change the location of where to pick up your visa packet

  2. I was subject to the ten year ban for unlawful presence, I was brought to the us as a baby :/ I have no criminal record though, married to a us soldier/ veteran for five years now so I'm hoping that will be good enough for an approval... And don't worry, its a very frustrating place to be, waiting... But hopefully it all gets resolved

Cambo fresh if I were you I'd get a lawyer... I do know if you have been deported you need to file a 212 along with a 601

  3. Yeah its a four month to five month wait :/ my four months will be on April 7th so I'm hoping next month I can finally go home... Well since its a 601 the waiting time is the same married or not I believe. If I were you I'd join emigrate2us.net, they have been helpful to me. If you already have your notification of action, you can use the LIN number to track your application online on uscis.gov, good luck!

    Sorry its immigrate2us.net

  4. I'm wondering if some cases take longer than others to be approved? Does the case take longer if its more complicated, like if the couple has been married for a short amount of time or something like that? Also, an officer at the consulate in juarez was going to go ahead and give me the waiver at the interview cuz my husband is an army vet but I didn't know it was a digression they give but don't announce. I obviously didn't know that so I didn't have my paperwork ready or else I would've :( so she took my official paperwork like our marriage certificate and birth certificates. Is there a reason for that? I'm hoping its a good thing and my lawyer said not to worry about it, that she filed some paperwork with my waiver at the lockbox telling uscis they already had my paperwork at the consulate. What does it mean when they do that though?

  5. When did you file for the i601 waiver? NSC received it December 12, 2012, and I still have not received a response. I, too have a clean background. In addition, I have a 4 year old waiting for me, and a 10 month old baby girl....I'm desperate and want to go home ASAP to be with my family....

I filed late November and received a notice of action on December 12 that they received it Dec 7. I just want to know how long till I can go home :(

Hi, I filed my 601 waiver through the lockbox and they received in Nebraska on Dec 7, its been a little more than 2 months now and I want to know by when I should get a decision on my case? My lawyer said that my husband being in the military for five years and now an Iraq vet would help to get an approval, is that true? We've been married for five years and I miss him so much
