Does the USA embassy in Nigeria and USCIS accept marriages certificates issued in local government or do we have to go to ikoyi.  Am a united state citizen and my spouse stays in Abeokuta in Ogun state. We both prefer getting married in one of the local government in Abeokuta rather than ikoyi. Please I need advice.  We don’t wanna make a costly mistakes

am finally approved. I just want to say thanks too the almighty God. I submitted my form 15 months ago and teven did interview 9 weeks ago. We were not separated and the IO was nice but said our income tax returns has small money on it. Told him am in school and getting to change my career path.

Thank goodness that I involved my senator . So proud of them.

Am also a July filer but at Califonia. My case is on processing hold. I really don't understand and believe their so called processing hold. It was only put on hold after 10months of applying. Anyway I have no choice than just to wait and allow them to exercise their bureaucracy. If I dont hear from them by 3 weeks time, I will file for n400 while my i751 is pending . Does any of you have anything to say to this

I found out it went to my old address. But I finally got the letter today and Infact today is the deadline day to respond to the RFE.

Am very gobsmacked that they are actually asking for more documentation because I did submitted a lot.

These are some of the documentation I submitted.

3 yrs tax returns filled jointly

3 yrs lease in joint names

3 yrs joint bank statement

2 yrs rental insurance in joint names

2 yrs life insurance with my spouse name as beneficiary

Pictures of my wife, my mum, my sisters, my wife children and grand children dining at a restaurant

2 letters notorize by family members testifying to marriage

What else can I send

contacted my congressman regarding my I751 and i received a correspondence from them that the USCIS sent me RFE back in March but i didnt receive any correspondence from them. How do i know the contents of the RFE. Am so disapointed right now

That happened to me too; you could call again, another Tier 2 agent may file an inquiry for you. Besides, you can file an e-request too!

I called the Tier2 officer today, i wasnt really expecting help or tangible assistance from them and thats exactly what i got. Itold him my application is over the normal 6months processing time that was stipulated on their website. He told me that i shouldnt follow what the processing time, he told me that the 12 months extension letter that i received shortly after i submitted is what i should be looking at. He said it can take up to 12 months and thats why they gave 12 months extension. Well i submitted my form on July 10th 2015 and am hoping by first week in March majority of the July filers should be done with

I just did my e filing for i90 also. My question is regarding supporting documents. What and what do I need to send

What supporting documents do I need to apply for a replacement greencard. I already did the e filing and just wondering if I should send supporting document separately. My greencard is a conditional one. Am also traveling in about 2weeks time out of United States but is it possible to get a stamp to my passport

On my 2013 Tax i didn't have any income

My present job pays 45k per annul and its way above the poverty level.

what documentation will i need.

will my green card, driver license, 2013 tax transcript even though i didn't have any income for that year, 2 pay-stubs covering the 2months ive worked, employment letter (will all these be okay)
