im not sure how to fill that in sorry

Hello! I'm a little confused with your post. What was approved? Was it your I-130 petition? Or was the visa approved at the consulte in Ciudad Juarez?
From what I'm reading, I think you are confused. If your I-130 was approved, there is no DHL package to track. The Waybill Number on the usvisa-info.com is the number DHL uses when sending the visa with the passport. So if you are waiting for the instructions, they will not arrive via DHL. I'm surprised you lawyers is telling you to check the website.
If the letter you got in the mail is the I-130 approval, then your case will be forwarded to the National Visa Center. You will need to contact them. Make sure you get the case number. Does your case number start with CDJ or MEP?
Please clarify your post. Thanks.
Hey sorry i should have clarified, what was approved was my I601 waiver. My lawyer said that i was going to get a DHL package with instructions on what to do next which would be to send in my passport to get sealed im guessing then they would return it stamped and i could return home. i hope that clarifies

Ok so i got approved on march 12 through USCIS.gov and got the actual letter in the mail on march 15. So my question is how long does it take for the dhl instruction package to arrive? its been 7 days since i got the letter in the mail. My lawyer told me to be checking on mexico.usvisa-info.com and i have but it just says "There is no information on the Waybill Number at this time".
I tried calling DHL but they say without the waybill number they cant give me any info. I did some research because i heard from known people that when they were going through that, that they checked online all the time and never saw something new so they just decided to take a trip to the dhl office and when they got there they told me that their package had been there. I found similar things to this of people online.
Is there any other way of finding out about the DHL package whereabouts? Does anyone have any opinions? should i take a trip to the dhl office? the thing is that its in michoacan zamora and im in mexico city so you could see the problem there. Any info would be much appreciated!

are they atleast done in the order they came in?

So many different visas and petitions and so few workers. Then add in extra work caused by the POTUS and his immigratgion reform. Based on our case I would say that CSC is working on ROC right now instead of anything else. This is due to how quickly they cashed the check and sent out the NOA1 for our case. It goes in waves as to which visa is worked on and which service center is faster. All I can say is you will have to wait. It is like the DMV and maybe your wait has been long enough that it is now lunch time.
Dave
how long do you think the wait will be?
-
Does anyone here actually know why some cases take so long to get completed? i mean do they do the cases in the order they got them or are they ramdom? do they look at anything else to prioritize them ? on the USCIS website says process time for an I601 is about four months but its taking way longer than that.

Hello everybody, It's been a while since I have'nt posted anything my fiance interview was on Jan 07.2013 was'nt denied but was'nt approved. Ask to send his waiver to Lockbos in Pheonix which we did last week I understand it's a 3 to 4 month wait. Has anyone gone through this? Please give me your feedback on what to expect I would really appreciate it. It also included hardship letters from my fiance as well as ours. We just hope for the best and good luck to everybody on there Journey. I just can't believe how long is our wait SO FRUSTRATED :crying:
all i can say is to be strong and prepare for anything. Im going through this right now and its taking more then 4 months. My interview was sept 14 2012 and you have to realize that the wait time is after they receive the waiver. They received my waiver on oct 26 2012 and to this day ive yet to hear anything from them. Im almost at my 6 months since leaving the country. My medical exams expire this month on the 12 i believe. So just be strong and maybe youll have better luck then me.

sometime last year the i601 waiver started being processes in the USA instead of overseas, but I guess that's not your case.... My lawyer is sending mine to a lockbox here in the USA for processing, but it's such a recent change I can find any data on approval time except what the uscis website lists, which is unreliable....
Congratz on your approval, I hope you and your family are reunited by now.
Thanks
no no no i think im misunderstood, yes my case was sent to a lock box also the one in Nebraska i believe and i havent received any approval yet so i havent seen my family in about 6 months, i left my son when he was about 7 months and now hes already walking
-
When did you apply? Is you applications being proceed here in the US?
well my appointment in ciudad juarez was on sept 14 2012 and im not sure what you mean by being proceed in the us. I had to leave the country if thats what your asking
-
ive been waiting for 5 months now, six since i left the US
-
Its been 5 months since they received my waiver, or 123 days, or 2952 Hrs, or 177120 minutes, or 10627200 seconds or what feels like eternity to me and still no word.
i just want to go home..... my son started walking

I know exactly what you mean...it's soo expensive to be here, I've never been in Mexico, after my parents took me to the US, I've never been back, and I was only 2 years old at the time, I'm waiting in Monterrey, which is my husband's original home city, I'm staying with the in laws, but I was born in Acapulco, regardless everything is very foreign to me...I hate being away from my babies and my husband,....I, too, just want to go home...
I left mexico when i was 8 and hadnt been back since then either. So everything def seemed foreign to me aswell. On top of that i have to deal with a father that i didnt want to see ever again lol, hes the reason i left in the first place which im thankfull for because to me the US is my home. Being away from the kids is def the hardest though and its not like you can bring them here, i mean you can but life here is too crazy and i wouldnt want my baby living here. Too much violence, poverty etc. I hope you get back to your babies and husband soon.
-
im in the same boat, i have a 1 year month baby waiting for me that i left when he was six months. My appointment was sep 14 and they received my 601 on oct 26 and till this day i havent heard anything new .
Hang in there i know how hard it is, hopefully you get a reply soon it seems some have better luck and i wish you much luck.
-
I know exactly what you mean, I could have done the same thing, but like you, now I must wait....although, you might get a faster respond than me because the NSC received my waiver on12/12/12. So, I am still waiting....
I feel like ive been waiting for years now. Its hell here for me.. i just hope i get response very soon because i dont want to have to go back to ciudad juarez for more medical exams, ive spent enough i think lol.
What part of mexico are you waiting at?
-
Did the atty send it to lockbox on time or later....did you see the waiver, were there hardship letter/s from wife , friends etc...just asking
well it took about 3 weeks after my appointment on sep 14 for my atty and wife to gather needed info, on the website it says they received my waiver on october 26. Yes there was letters from my wife, friends,phycologist..etc im just worried because my medical exams are almost at the 6 month expired date and that just means more money to spend which ive already spent a butt load of.
Im kinda mad at myself because i was eligeble for the dream act and i thought to myself back then maybe i should get the two year permit and i was sure that a law would pass within those 2 years where i could stay in the country and thats what happened
-
Did you file through the Lockbox?
i checked and yes it was sent to a lockbox
-
you know what im not even sure, our lawyer did all the filing, ill ask

Hello everyone, my name is Edgar and im in the process of my I-601 waiver approval. short description of case.
Entered the US when i was nine years old, i am now 26. No criminal record.
Married wife 3 years ago.Had our first and only son on jan 12 2012.
Ciudad juarez appointment was september 14. Was denied and gave me 601 waiver form. Waiver form was received on october 26. Havent had any news since then. I guess im just here writting this because im going crazy without any news and im just seeking words of hope from you that are going through this or went through this. Its torture living without my family, especially my son. I missed so much of his life already, i missed his first bday, christmas, his first words, his first steps, pretty much his first everything.I feel like he probably doesnt even remember me and will not recognize me when i get to see him again. Ofcourse i also miss my wife so much, shes my best friend and is having such a bad time with this. Bills, bills, bills, lonelyness etc, but regardless im very proud of her for trying her best. Also im a dog person and my dog and i were very close and i know some of you probably dont understand the bond you grow to have with your dog but i had a very strong one with my dog. He probably thinks i abandoned him and he recently got attack by an offleash dog and i feel awful for not being able to be there for him.
Then recently i checked my status online and said something about a 35-45 day delay?.Is going online the only way to check status? how will i know when im approved, from what i understood reading online the 35-45 day delay is for the online status because they are too busy updating the site?
so yea im just looking for you guys view and opinion. feel free to ask any questions
got approved and now waiting on DHL. need some questions answered
