Incidentally, don't even think about peeking or opening the envelope. In fact, don't even look at it too many times...
Lol, the envelope is safely placed away until travel time.

Ours was the same, we had no problems at POE.
Thanks Pinkrlion

Yes. the corner is cut to expose the edge of the paperwork, which is all bound together.
It is normal. Don't worry!

Thank you u so much, I was about to start panicking.

The sealed envelope that must presented at the POE, does anybody know why the one corner of the envelope is cut off.

try budgetair.com might have to play with the dates or accept a long layover...but the prices seem really good if you can find the right flight.
Thank you very much, I will take a look at it

These were the questions the consular asked my fiancé at the interview:
How did we meet
Where does she work
What does she do for a living
when did she first come to the US
What floor does she work on
Where does she lives
How many hours does she work
How many days does she work

for a K-1 visa, NVC never sets the interview date.
Thanks, I called department of state and the lady i spoke with said the same thing.
Yes, if you are going thru an expedite process and you were approved. Did you expedite your process at NVC?
No it wasn't an expedite process.

Is it possible for NVC to send my case to the embassy without the interview date.
-
Consider contacting a visa specialist at the DoS, 202-663-1225, press 1, then 0, for a live person .
Thanks guys, I emailed the embassy and hopefully I will get a response soon.

How long that it takes the Ghana embassy to notify me when they recieve my petition. Or do I have to contact them myself.
Thanks in advance for the answer

Am happy to say that after 5 1/2weeks of calling both uscis and NVC, with prayers and fasting, my approved petition was finally mailed to NVC. When I said finally I really meant it, because uscis vermont service center insisted that they mailed my petition to NVC on February 4, 2013. Every time I would call NVC they will tell me that am not in their system, then i will call uscis and inquiri where my petition is, and of course I would hear that same lie that they mailed it on feb 4th. I actually had a tier 2 agent told me that my case was lost and neither NVC or uscis wants to take responsibility for it. Long story short I contacted someone from uscis public engagement and I prayed about my situation and On Friday after serval emails between public relations and I, I got an email stating that my case was on it way to NVC, I called NVC today and they told that they received my case today. I am very happy with public engagement for inquiring on my behalf and thank God almighty for making a way when there seemed to be no way.

even though you never received it.
Yes, it unbelievable. They state that since I never received it n the post office didn't return it back to them, they consider it lost. So I have to pay to get a copy
-
Try to speak to a tier 2 rep and let them know you never received the NOA2
I did, n they said I have to pay $400 n wait almost 6months to get a duplicate of my Noa2
-
Did you sign the privacy release they require? They will not be able to help unless you do that.
Usually they have a form on their site that you can download, complete, and then fax to them. They need this release otherwise USCIS cannot legally communicate with them about your case.
I did sign for the senator, I had to hand write my letter n sign it too. But my congressman I emailed, so hopefully he will let me know if I need to sign something. It reall strange that I never received my noa2 hard copy n NVC hasn't received my case either.
-
I would contact one of your congressional representatives and have them investigate the matter for you.
I did that today. I emailed both my senator n congressman, n also emailed NVC, uscis vermont, uscis headquarters too.
-
Did you receive the hard copy of the NOA2?
That is also another issue, I never received even though the claim to have sent it on feb 4th

I-129 F petition was filed back in June 27, 2012, it was approved on February 4th, 2013. It been over a month now, and National visa center (NVC) hasn’t receive my papers. NVC advise me to call U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to find out where my paper work is. Every time i call the NVC they say that they haven’t received my case yet as of March 7th, 2013. I did a service request with USCIS to find out what happened to my case, they sent me a letter stating that they mailed my case to NVC on Feb 4th 2013, but NVC is stating that they don’t have me in their system. Every time I call to inquirer from both NVC and USCIS on my case, nobody seems to know what is going on. My approved petition is only good for 4months, which will be June 4th, 2013. I feel like somehow they lost my paper work and they are hesitant about informing me. I paid the fee $340 for the petition and i haven’t received any good service from Both USCIS and NVC. I will be forever grateful. I can’t believe things like this happen in the United States, where nobody can tell you have is going on.
