  1. after getting approved and received NOA2 hard copy how long does it take to get the NVC case number, iin and bin? do i really need to call or are they going to send me an email or letter by mail? when will it arrive? i read that Ciudad Juarez uses the Electronic Processing so i know i must fill out the online forms but can anyone share their experience so i can use it like a guide on what do they ask you for to scan etc

  2. I know this is an old post but I want to know:

at the interview do they ask for the antecedentes no penales?

If so, where would my fiancé in Mexico have to go to get it?

    Thanks!

according to the post above the answer is NO you don't need it but providing extra stuff to increase your chances is always optional but not recommended it's better to provide only what they ask you for.

  3. i got approved november 21 and got my NOA2 hardcopy yesterday by mail but everytime i call NVC they dont answer lol since december is around the corner should i just keep following this thread until december thread is made? when should i expect to receive my case number, iin and bin? whats the average time this process is usually finished without any problems? are they going to contact me by mail or email?

    Initial Review

On October 29, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

  5. people if you don't get your NOA2 in less than 3 months don't worry the approx time is 6 to 8 months that's a proven fact so just be patient i would start worrying once you hit the 6 or 8 month mark :)

according to timelines and my calculations i've noticed most people are getting processed in 4 months and 15 to 20 days if this is true then i should receive my NOA2 in the next week or two which is July 24 to July 31 let's hope all of us that filed in March finally get what we are waiting for but then again it's a different case for everyone but hopefully most of us do get some kind of update before August ends.
