  1. Thanks for your post to that!!! I had read about visa fraud and was not happy with that option at all. Too much risk. I want it done the right way first time.

My next question on this note: Once I petition for her in a K1 when I come back from Peru in Sept, she can still travel to VISIT with here B1/B2 while we wait for her approval? We would make sure she would have documentation showing she would return and would not stay until she received her K-1.

I was petitioned for the K1 on February, and I travelled for 2 weeks to visit on March. And then again on May for 5 days.

She just needs to stay calm on her turn at immigration and just tell the truth when asked about what´s the purpose and with whom she´s staying. I said I was staying with my fiance both times, and did not have a problem. They just asked where he lived and what he did for a living.

Also, she has nothing to worry about if she has never overstayed a visa.

  2. Congratulations!!!smile.png

Are you actually in Vrrmont or California?

Your receipt number starts with EAC or WAC?

Did you expedite ? Or are you from Haiti, Syria, Cuba, Dominican Republic?smile.png

    Thanks!

    VSC hence EAC

    All info in my profile.

    Didn't expedite.

Not from any of those countries.. But from Panama, as far as I know we've never had major immigration issues with the US. In fact we might be on the lowest rankings of nationalities/countries that immigrate to the US.

I don't know if that affects anything.

  3. I posted a few days ago that I saw the case status before mine getting approved.

I decided today to check the status right after I woke up, to my surprise! NOA1 was 14/2/2013 (a week short of 4 months)

On June 6, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

But we haven´t gotten a txt or an email. Just waiting for the written one by mail next week.
