hello this is my question...
in philippines the middle name we used is the maiden name.
when the daughter got married , the daughter will drop the old maiden name
and change it to old surname.
how to answer the g-325a form for a married filipina
sample name:
first name:Maria Liza
middle name:Castro
last name:Cruz
married name is Smith
so in philippines it will be
Maria Liza Cruz Smith
at the bottom of the g-325a with the heavy border
family name: Smith
Given Name: Maria Liza
Middle Name: Cruz
is this correct?
thank you in advance!

thank you for the fast reply YuandDan.
but im a bit confuse.
does the NVC require to submit the affidavit of support to them?
or we will be needed it only on the interview date?
how long does it usally takes to approved the petition
((D. When the petition is approved, it is sent to the NVC for processing and then the appropriate Consulate is notified and processing for the K3/K4 non-immigrant visa is begun, including medical, police check, I-134 affidavit of support, and Consular interview. The fee will be the same as the current K1 fiance(e) visa. ))
THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
From the FAQ page: http://www.visajourney.com/faq/k3k4visa-outline.htmlBriefly, the K3/K4 process is as follows:
* A. The US Citizen files an I-130 petition for the foreign spouse.
* B. USCIS (INS) issues a receipt (I-797) acknowledging filing of the I-130 petition.
* C. The US Citizen files an I-129F petition, using the I-797 receipt as "proof of filing an immigrant petition". All children of the foreign spouse will be listed on this petition. The I-129F is sent to a special Service Center in Chicago. At this point, the "track" of the K3/K4 process becomes similar to the current processing for K1/K2 fiance(e) visa.
* E. The K3 visa is issued to the spouse, the K4 to the minor children, they go to the United States.
Note at step D is when the affidavit of support will be needed. It will be brought to the Visa interview at the consulate by the beneficiary.

i thought i just wanted to write here about my feelings, my man just left the philippines yesterday. he had to leave for work, and it is so hard for me. we stayed together for a total of 10 months. he will start the visa as soon as possible in usa. it is very painfull to me being away from him, i wish i can just fly to him, if he could only stay here but he had to work for living and also for his child. the relationship is almost 2 yrs now, but we were planning before to get fiancee visa but we waited long for some reason. until the happiest day of my life came that we got married here, it is my greates dream.... but right now im very sad, i miss him so much.
note: i only want to share little story of my life and how its sad to be away from our love ones.
