    Good to see that your file finally arrived at the NVC, too. Our petitions were probably approved by the same person and then left there to collect dust...

      Ours arrived at the NVC on May 1st and was assigned a case number right away. When I called them again yesterday, they said it was forwarded to the Consulate earlier that day. Yours should be on its way on Tuesday or so! :) Good luck with the rest of the process!!!

      But hey, they touched your case!!! If you guys are quick with replying to the RFE you could have your NOA2 in just a few weeks. Don't see it as a delay, look at it as light at the end of the tunnel! :)

    Pretty disheartened by reading all the news about how slow and unpredictable CSC has become...we had no idea when we filed the petition..and now my life is on hold and I can´t even know for sure how long the process is going to be! I wonder how everybody else is coping with this? Please be welcome to post your thoughts!

I wonder how everybody else is coping with this? Please be welcome to post your thoughts!

      I really hope for you that CSC will pick up speed again soon, so you won't have to wait 8 months like we did. I guess there's no way to predict how long it will actually take for you though :-/ But trust me, it's doable…and if the two of you are meant to be together, then you will be together :)

      Congrats! I'm also curious to hear about how your Senator helped. My fiancé contacted his Senator's office, but the only information they were able to get is that we're still within the processing timeframe :-/
