Hey my oath ceremony was good. we went there joined a long line to get passed security. They took all cell phones away. Joined another line to turn in my green card, then another line to sign my certificate. After all that, we sat down and the judge came in and gave officiated the oath. Finally, they called us by name to pick up the certificate and that was it. When is yours?

Quick tip, you can actually do a walk-in to 26 Federal Plaza. Security will let you right in without needing to show any appointment or infopass notice. Once in the building, you can go straight up to the 7th floor where they conduct interviews, ask for a supervisor, and they can assist you. Just take the screenshot showing that the system reflects oath had been mailed, and they can probably tell you what's up. You may have better luck doing this than calling.

Yuda is actually part of the Queens FO as his residence is in Brooklyn. I betcha his interview was on the 8th floor at Fed Plaza and that his oath ceremony is at the courthouse in Brooklyn. Similar to Prince from the other Forum, Queens FO are getting their oath ceremonies scheduled much quicker than NYC FO. Look like it's 2 months from interview to oath in NYC FO.

Oh it makes sense now. I'll wait till Friday, If I don't get it, I'll give them a call. Are you in Manhattan also? When was your interview?

Congrats. Where are you located in NYC? I had my interview at Federal plaza on 1/03 and I still haven't gotten anything. It still says Oath ceremony scheduled, we'll mail it to you.

Update: the ELIS is useless. I just checked my status and it say's it been mailed and If I don't receive it by the 3rd of February I should let them know.

I believe they're from NYC. Congrats on getting your mailed. Mine still say it's been schedule, but they'll mail it soon.

Then I got my status updated to "Oath Ceremony Notice mailed"

and the letter arrived in just four days.

Time between interview and oath ceremony - a bit over 2 months.

I did file an online request to get a copy of the Oath Ceremony notice. The website says I should get a response by Jan 11th.

I had my interview last week in NYC. My only status message now says " USCIS has scheduled your oath ceremony and will mail you the appointment notice. " is this how your status message was 1 weeks after your interview?

Had my interview 2 days ago, it was a very pleasant experience. The guy was nice to me and we ended up having a nice long conversation. I passed and he told me to wait for my oath to be scheduled.

Looks like things are actually moving quickly.

Interview done!

Arrived at 8:40, went through the security check and we were seated by 8:50. At 9:00 they called the first person in. At 9:17 they called my name. Since I applied 3 months before being eligible for the 5-yr rule and now that I have been a LPR for 5 years, she changed that on my application and I signed off on it. Then I was asked 6 questions, she verified some stuff, and profusely apologized for the slowness of the new online system. By 9:32, I was out the door. It took just 15 minutes. Now I'm waiting for an oath date which she estimated would be in January or February. Maybe March but "definitely before summer".

So now I wait.

Congrats, mine's in 2 weeks I hope my story is as nice as your.

Thanks mate, but the Queens and Brooklyn Field Office is also at 26 Federal Plaza, just on different floors. Queens FO is on the 8th floor whilst New York is on the 7th floor. The processing times are different. Can you please confirm that your interview is in the 7th floor?
