    Hi Punit, Just wanted to check if you have applied for Advance Parole in addition to EAD? If yes did you give a reason for applying for AP?

      Hi, my AP status also says Initial Review, but your EAD will have the AP with it. When you get the card, you will see on the bottom of the EAD card that it also has Advanced Parole on it. So no biggie. My wife is on her flight back today from India on her AP, so I know it works.

      Yes my AP is still under process, hoping it will get processed soon. It doesn't take a lot of time, I am wondering what is holding mine up, it should have been approved before my EAD. Hoping all goes well here soon.

      Hi MGAF, yes I have applied for AP in addition to EAD. I will check my documents and get back to you if I provided a reason. As far as I remember I did not provide a reason.

    Hi there, I received my interview letter through mail. But I haven't received Packet 3 and Packet 4. I know I can download packet 3 and packet 4 through the website. http://mumbai.uscons...ov/ivforms.html But I am not sure if I need to send Packet-3 to the Mumbai Consulate or wait until the interview to take it with me. I would greatly appreciate any insights on this. Thanks.

      But you have to print a confirmation page and take it with you to the interview for them to collect it otherwise they will give you 221(g)

      You can do either. Your choice. I had Dhruvi pay ahead since I didn't know how to work the www.ustraveldocs.com/in site to print the confirmation page.

      VFS would be in the consulate. When you enter first, they will collect your documents your DS, PCC, Passport, DD, etc will be collected by the VFS reps. They are the ones to help out the U.S. COs. They will do the fingerprints and collection of documents and all only.

      You don't need to download packet 3, nor you do need to send it to Mumbai. You will receive a hardcopy of the appointment letter in mail and download packet 4 and all the DS156, DS156, DS230 Part I & II. All the other things will be listed on Packet 4. If you have any further question feel free to ask. Will help you out to the best of my ability.

      That good, means your file is finally with an adjudicator. The sooner you submit the evidence the sooner you will have your approval.
