  1. My fiancés visa was issued!

  2. When you submit additional documents that were missing at the time of your interview, how long does it take for them to make a final decision at the Kingson Embassy?

  3. Welcome to Visajourney. You will get a lot of support on here. I applied for a fiancé visa back in August of 2012. They normally take 5-6 months or less in the past to be approved or denied, but unfortunately I am heading on 8 months as of the 29th of this month..

  4. ok, thank you! I really appreciate it, i glanced at them and plan to print them out as i have found them very helpful

  5. I would think after a few congressman contact CSC, they would make a greater effort to work on K1 visas... I guess I'll have to write mine and encourage others to do the same because this long wait is nonsense

I understand what you are going through. I hope your wait will soon be over.

  6. So one must contact their congressman in order for CSC to work on approving or denying their application for a K1 visa? Many of those who are being approved had to take that route which is really sad!

  7. I THOUGHT THE FACT THAT CSC TRANSFERED FILES TO ANOTHER OFFICE THINGS WOULD PICK UP BUT FROM MY UNDERSTANDING IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE.THEY ARE DEALING WITH CLOSE TO 200,000 APPLICATIONS FROM THOSE APPLICANTS ALONE PLUS THE NEW APPLIACTIONS THEY RECIEVE DAILY...

  8. I check the mailbox daily for my NOA2 although the status remains the same in the system

  9. I'm hoping with CSC transfering a few different workloads to TSC, that the K1 visas will start trickling in as well as every other caseload.

  10. If I don't hear from immigration by the end of this month, I will consider withdrawing my application and just getting married. As a U.S. citizen had I gotten married he would've been here in within 9 to 10 months, I have waited almost 7 months for my petition to be approved and have yet to hear anything...it's getting a little depressing...

  11. Checked onlie and it said my application was lasted reviewed on September 4,2012. Mind you I submitted my application and it was accepted in August

  12. The filing process had I gotten married would've taken 9 months or a little longer... Makes me regret the time spent waiting for someone to approve or deny a basic 4 page application... I just don't understand

its all about the workload verus poor staffing.. from what i hear the process is simple once they have our files in hand... its just we are in a long #### waiting line... ur closer to it than i am, im only three months in.. the only thing i can do to keep from goin crazy is to see my fiance every other month or two.. there isnt anything i can do to make then hurry up.. if u are this far into the process, it would be crazy to start over with a cr1 or k3 or whichever... ur almost there.. if nee...

need be, go see him, it really helps make the time apart a little more bearable.

  13. USCIS accepted my application on the 29th of August and I have yet to hear from them, I am getting a little worried...My application was forwarded to the California Service Center...

  14. I would like to know how long it usually takes to find out if you have been denied or not.

  16. Is there anyone that applied around the 29th of August that has received an approval letter?

  21. Hi, I am new to this website. I has been 5 months since I have filed my fiancé visa and I am getting worried. Should I be worried at this point? If it were denied how long does it take for them to notify you of the denial?

you have waited this long already. I think that getting married now would actually slow you down at this point. I think you should be getting your NOA2 soon. Like I said we waited about 6 months to hear something back. so you are very close....dont get discouraged. I know it takes forever....
