I have checked the website and all it says is that it was received on the 29th of August and last updated on the 4th of September. It's crazy because if i were to get married he would've been here within 9-10 months because that's how fast it goes through here in Chicago, so i'm starting to feel that this was a waste of time and money. I am ready to just call it off and get married because I just don't understand why this process takes so long when it's just a few piec...

I received a receipt but nothing more. I am trying to patiently wait because the end of this month will make 5 months. I've been wondering if they denied me if I would've out by now... I'm kind of tired of waiting because I don't know how much it requires to approve or deny the fiancé application that is only 3 pages along with evidence... If I had gotten married he would've been on his way in a few more months because it takes less than a year when your married

THANK YOU SO MUCH, WHEN I CALL THEY ONLY TELL ME WHEN MY APPLICATION WAS PROCESSED, THEY NEVER TELL ME HOW FAR ALONG THE PROCESS IS. I CHECK ONLINE WITH MY RECIEPT NUMBER AND IT'S THE SAME INFORMATION. I WAS WONDERING HOW SOON THEY LET YOU KNOW IF IT WERE DENIED. I WOULD HATE TO WAIT 6/7 MONTHS JUST TO FIND OUT THEY DENIED THE APPLICATION...
