    Hi Shpresa. I send an email to nvc like 2 weeks ago trying to get an early interview. To bad,they don't care. look what they responded... The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in TIRANA, ALBANIA.     did you guys get an interview yet? we just got one for AUGUST 5th! any idea how long it takes until they can travel to the US?

      Congratulations!!! No I did not get an email. Did you call or get an email? I will call now. From what I hear the visa is issued a few days later if approved. Up to 7 days supposedly but I would not make travel arrangements until issued as some cases go into administrative review.

      The third one says VERTITIM I GJENDJES GJYQESORE and that goes directly to the embassy from the ministry and can be requested from your local post office. :)

      The third one is a certificate of judicial status which can be requested from your local post office in Albania and must be sent directly from the ministry to the embassy. If you tell them at the post office it is for immigration they will know to send it to the embassy in Tirana. I had my husband request one for himself also and I have and sent all 3 for the NVC.

      Yes. You need 3 documents for Albania. First you need a certificate stating that you are not under open investigations which is from the local District Court office where you live in Albania. Mine is from Lezhe so it says GJYKATA E RRETHIT GJYQESOR LEZHE on the top. Second certificate is from the local District Attorney office where you live in Albania stating that you have no previous investigations or any registered penal procedure. Mine says PROKURORIA E RRETHIT GJYQESOR LEZHE on the top....
