1. can i go visit my country (Philippines) by next year or should i wait until the conditions are removed?

2. if yes, what should i do? do i need to prepare such documents?

i know its too early to make plans since i just got here in the US but ideas makes us plan things out

Goodness you just got here. And no its not your wedding anniversary. It's 90 days before expirartion of your 2 year green card you can start removing of conditions. You have 21 months to relax dear.

im under CR1 visa, i've been here in the US last Feb.26, 2013

at SFO aiport (my POE), the immigration officer told me to adjust ny status 90days before our 2nd wedding anniversary which will be in November 3,2013.. The rest i dont understand haha!

So pls help me on what should we do next.. Do i really have to do something regarding my status or my visa before our 2nd wedding annivesary? what office should i call, NVC or the USCIS?

after 3weeks under "administrative process" i received my visa packet today Feb.15,2013..

as i check my personal info's on my visa, i notice that instead of 10digits numbers after the MNL _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ there is additon 2digit numbers - 01..

so my case number looks like this: MNL2012_ _ _ _ _ _01

sorry for not giving the complete case number... but is it normal? or should i report it at the US Embassy..

pls plsss.. i hope someone can give me an

answer with this matter..

Yes your passport is inside the plastic pouch, just remove your passport and leave the envelope inside the plastic bag will help to protect it until POE.

is it normal that my visa packet (the yellow envelope) has a diagonal cut on its corner?

Hello all, my father went through a sputum test and was told to call St. lukes on Feb 20 unfortunately he got a call from St. Lukes asking him to come back Feb 5 for pulmonary evaluation. I dont know what that means but I read that when the hospital call you its not a good sign.

Now my mom postponed her vaccination because we want both parents to be interviewed the same day/time but looks like thats not going to be the case. Maybe I will ask my mom to go ahead with her vaccination and go to her interview alone.

Going back to my dad, he has an annual physical/ medical exam for work purposes in fact he had medical/physical a week before his medical at st lukes and he is fine no signs of tb nothing he is indeed a healthy man. Anyway, is it true that if he has to be treated it would be 6 months everyday to st lukes? My parents are from Mindanao and I read some post stating that St. Lukes allow patient to be treated in their local hospital as opposed to having the treatment at st lukes but it could take 18 months??? Hope somebody that went through the same scenario could give me feedback on this.. It is very stressful! Thank you very much...

kahit saang bansa ka magpunta kailangan mo ng CFO sticker not unless OFW ka.. tama po ba ako? iba naman kasi yung sa mga OFW di po ba?

Are they now using US passports? I say this because it seems EXTREMELY fishy that someone is slipping through immigration without the CFO sticker in their RP passport. They check for it each and every time in my experience. Also, how long ago was this bribery for a CFO sticker at the airport? The recent administration has made cracking down on low level graft a major issue and thankfully it seems to be working. The CFO really does serve a purpose and it is not just to line the government coffers. When you have OFWs and emigrants leaving the country at the rate that they do it is important that they are informed of how different the world is outside the Philippines and what resources they have available to them in case they get into trouble.

cfo sticker is as valuable as your visa and passport so its impossible not to have it in your RP passport before leaving the Philippines..

lets hope no calls from the embassy between 3-5weeks because the result may be positive.. because during the culture test process, its usually between 3-5weeks that those unwanted micro organisms or whatever you call them, shows/grow in the sputum..

when you're on your 6th weeks and no calls yet fron SLMEC then there's a big chance of having a negative result.. because when the culture test process reach its 6th weeks and no unwanted micro organisms or whatever you call, shows/grow in the sputum.. then there's this chance that they will see nothing at all on your culture test

i've heard that after the treatment, the patient will under go another sputum test.. during my 3days sputum collection, there this woman who is on her 2nd sputum test.. we asked her why she's having another sputum test.. she told us that she had a 6months treatment at SLMEC bcoz her 1st culture test resulted positive.. she said she has no choice but to follow what SLMEC procedures..

i've been on this situation too.. the waiting game made me crazy! but ofcourse we need to be patient and im thankful that my husband is supportive, he's the who always tell me that everything will be fine in Gods time..

i had my sputum test October 16,17,18 of 2012.. the smear test was negative.. they told me to call back on December 18, 2012 (i need to wait for 8weeks)

a friend of mine who also had sputum test told me that it is ok to call SLMEC already even if you're only on your 6th-7th weeks. just be polite and be friendly on asking on the phone.. before calling make sure to know your PDS# because they will ask for it..

i should be calling SLMEC on December 18, 2012 but i try to call them last December 7, 2012 Friday..the guy i talked with ask for my PDS# and my name.. then he ask me to hold on for a while for him to check if my culture test result is already on their system. then he's back on the phone, he told me that theres already a result for me and its negative.. and he told me that i can go to SLMEC any day of next week to finish my medical.. but i told him to scheduled me on december 13,2012..

on December 13, 2012 @ SLMEC, the guard gave me my number stub & told me to proceed in the pulmonary section 2nd floor.. at the pulmonary section i gve my number stub to the nurse and as i handed him my number and gave him my name then he looked for my folder and told me to take my seat and wait for my name to be called.. thank God because the color of my folder is orange..

a friend that i also met at SLMEC during my 3days sputum collection told me that those who have red folders are positive.. and she's right.. i've been observing while waiting for my name to be called and those who have red folders are positive..

then my name was called, a doctor talked to me and told me that my culture test was negative and i can proceed to the next step..

to make the long story short, i had another pregnancy test where in i payed 450pesos.. then they gave me 2 vaccinations.. then i went down to the releasing area for my medical result & new interview schedule thats around 11am so i decided to have my lunch.. good thing i ate my lunch na becoz you know what, they release my medical result(cd) & interview schedule at 4:30pm.. thats it!

just be patient and everything will be ok good luck!
