Hey guys how are you doing? So, I got approved (IR-1) and I am leaving with my daughter, we are bound to SFO this month. We are very happy. I think we are all set, however, I want to double check the DSWD clearance thing. Do I need to obtain a DSWD clearance? I checked their website and (please correct me if I'm wrong) there I learned that I don't need it anymore because I am the mother and it's just the two of us traveling. Second question is... I have a very dear friend, and I'm thinking what could I do or give her before I leave. She's very important to me, if I were a boy I would do everything and anything to be his husband. She just got married to a guy whom I don't like that much for her, but he's a nice guy. Lately they've been arguing more and I can see that my girl friend is so stressed already. Do you have ideas, what can I do? Thanks!

Hi again red, you know what? This is funny... That I don't know what is k3. Haha . all I know is my husband is a Filipino guy that has been naturalized as US citizen, we got married and ta-dah! No need to go early.

Just bring the following documents:

Requirements for Registration

• Original and photocopy of Passport;
• Original and photocopy of visa
• Original and photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for US-bound emigrants;
• Original CFO guidance and counseling certificate;
• Duly completed emigrant registration form;

Hi everyone, it is I again, your friendly neighbor here in visa journey:) anyone has experience in obtaining a CFO sticker? I've already underwent a seminar with them and they gave me a certification. I want to know how to get the sticker, should I go there early? My daughter has a US and PHIL. Passport, will she still be required to have it? What docs. Will I need ? Thanks!

Hey guys, I just want to share the news that my visa for IR-1 has been approved and I am beyond happy. Good luck and god bless to all!

I would say you take the med.exam at slec as early as possible because if they see something suspicious in your lungs (xray results) they will hold you 2 mos. to have you undergo a treatment. That's a lot of time to wait. Good luck!
