Hi! I saw that you had your interview on the 12th of Nov!!! My husband had his interview on the same date too!! But he's still in AP... Did you already get you visa??

No it didnt change, it doesnt really mean anything, cuz they r workig on it everyday but they just update it online every now n then....

I can feel the pain... And InshAllah by the time october comes, hopefully their visas will be approved!

I call every monday. But still keep getting the same answer. N the cheapest time to travel was in February or maybe after summer is over, around October. Other then that is very expensive during this time of the year.

Dont loose hope, tell your husband to be patient. Or tell him that its a very bad time for you to go cuz of all the strikes thats going on right now. I'm sure he'll u...

Heeyyyyyy!!!! Mines show that the status has been updated on the 10th of March!!! That means they are working!!! Alhamdulillah for this... And we are coming to an end of this AP!!! Even though it says that its still under administrative processing, i am glad to see some progress!!!!

I hope they are working! Cuz today the 4th month has completed of us beig in AP.... I havnt seen my husband aince August of 2011.... :'(

I know, tickets are so expensive!! I hope this AP is finished very soon, InshAllah. I cant take this anymore. Going on month 4!!! And he's not applying for a UK visa.

We tried calling dhaka embassy and the operator will transfer but no will pick up, it keeps ringing and ringing and ringing..... My husband wants to try for UK visa, since he was already there for 6yrs. I dont know whats gonna happen.... R u going to visit?

Yup, it still shows dec.... I dont know what I'm gonna do, cuz my husband is so tired of it that he doesn't even care anymore :-(

Have u been watching the news? I dont know if this is the reason its taking so long for the embassy! I wanted to go visit in April. And yes I dont think even the senator can help. No they didnt even want me to come to their office. How did urs go?

Hey!! Did u go to the senator's office? I called my senators office today and they told me that i had to sign a release form and then they can do an inquiry. But other then that, they cant do anything else cuz its in AP. They told we just have to wait till they r done :-(

I dont know, cuz i contacted the congressmen and they didnt even want any of my NVC papers just emailed the embassy for inquiry. But what your saying could be a good thing too... Dont worry, i should probably contact the senator too...

Sorry for the confusion, NVC wanted the pics before the interview date was issued. No updates yet.. InshAllah, we'll both get out of AP pretty soon... When did you get married and how old are you?

NVC asked for ours for a second time and they sent all our originals to the embassy. I was reading a lot of these forums and then my husband told me not to get upset by reading all these stories so I stopped. It'll happen whenever its time, inshAllah.

And dont read too much of these forums, cuz they will make u crazy lol.... Everyones case is different and I thought greencard holders have to wait even longer??? :-/

Thats where my lawyers messed up!! Didnt send the pics in... So at the interview the stared at our pics and asked if they could keep the pic.. I am 27 and how old r u?and yes the DOS ppl will not give you any information other then if your still in AP or not... They didnt keep my husbands passport but kept all other original documents. How abt u? Did they keep ur husbands passport??

Inshallah, I hope so too!! Nope, we're only 3yrs apart... But ours is online love and my parents did not agree, so we got married at the court. And thats why we dont have a lot of pictures of a typical Bangladeshi wedding ceremony... I think u should call DOS about the visa status! I call them every week. Yes, I am a citizen too, but whats gc?? I hope everyone whos in AP gets ou...

I applied for my husband in Dec of 2011!! Got the interview almost after 10 months.... Now I'm stuck in AP over 3 months!!! There is no time limit.... When did you apply? And if you dont mind me asking, was yours arranged marriage???

Interview was on Nov 12th, 2012!! And that update doesnot really mean anything, cuz I called DOS and asked if that meant anything? So the lady said that website is almost USELESS!! The most current update you can get is from them.... Did you contact your congressmen for update?

I have no clue... Does it really take that long??
