Thanks people...It has been tyring journey..waiting next rounds to be clear in 2 months approx.

  2. :D CONGRATS!!!! :D

    Onto NVC, now!

Recl12, It's gotta be any day now. Did you send the stuff they needed already?

You wont believe what they did to me...On Apr 05, they said..we need evidence bla bla...sent you a letter on Apr 05..

But on Apr 09, they updated the same status saying now they have sent letter on Apr 09...means..they just killed 4 days in between...so..i am waiting for my second RFE to arrive...

now i feel its all intentional by USCIS...felt like cheated twice....even though i have a long journey ahead of approval...but they have stopped me on first step that is approval....i dont know what to do....waiting like stupid...dont know why its happening to me...they sau..we are procesing August..My foot...all lies..

  3. When did they received ur 1st RFE???

    I told you

I submitted on 29. And next was apr 03 when they again wrote ###### like we have received actively processing bla bla

But now just after 2-3 days again sent second RFE

    I studied in some sites

RFE is not that bad as

    Bad is denial warning letter

    Notice of intend to deny

    NOID the say

They also say a new processing time will start after we submit this second RFe

  4. Aand just after all I was expecting a decision, here comes second RFE

""On April 5, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting evidence/information for this case to you or your representative. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the material requested. This case will be held in suspense until we either receive the evidence/information or the opportunity to submit it expires. A new processing period will begin when we receive your response. You or your representative will be notified by that office of a decision or if any further information or action is needed from you. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.""

I am in shock. Why couldn't they demand all docs on first RFE?

  5. i already have a case number... but not sure what to do yet since my husband hired a lawyer...

may things to say but i think hiring a lawyer is confusing...

I have hired a lawyer from the beginning...and trust me when I say that they bring more bad than good...they dont care for documents to be filled properly..resulting into lots of queries ...I was supposed to get approved last month but greeted by RFE coz my bloody lawyer forgot/skipped to submit some document

    Key words: up to

This doesn't mean it will necessarily take 60 days. But it could. Usually it doesn't take that long.

i M REALLY COUNTING ON YOUR WORDS MY FRIEND..I HOPE THAT HAPPEN TRUE TO US

  6. Hello everyone we got RFE (asking for foreign language marriage certificate) and we submitted on 26th march 2013,they have received on 2nd April, below what they have update on my case status.I cannot understand below highlighted line can u guys explain me plz.

On April 2, 2013, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our VERMONT SERVICE CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Once a timely response to the request for evidence is received by USCIS, we review the evidence or information you submitted. If you submitted the requested evidence, we continue with the adjudication of your application or petition in light of the new evidence.

This is the exact statement shown on my case number also after I have submitted RFE.

On inquiry..they say - we will revert within 60 days....so...just wait till they revert..

    I am also waiting

Do you think i will get 2nd RFE??? Why dnt they ask the necessary doc. in the 1st RFE???? to get approve it take 60 days???? i am down now, its almost going to be 10 months

Dont worry..Be patient My friend..I have completed 10 months...

    they will revert with decision...

coz all docs required are asked in RFE...even if more than one document.

Secong RFE is very very very rare...so be positive...and keep hoping.

God should help me plz everyone pray for me.

We all are with you...specially people like me who are in similar stage....May God give us all strength to bear whats happening

  7. We mailed RFE doc. on 26.03.2013,does any body knows in how many days they wil receive it and once they receive will they inform us?

Normally...they get it within 1-2 daus depending upon postal service...and they change the status saying....we have received the response. we are actively processing case bla bla...

    Here is my story.

I was ready to take my bath, a good time to have another cry over this waiting.

Thought I check this forum before, feeling so bad for everyone still waiting.

Than I checked with USCIS, didn't think people want to work today.

I didn't expect me screaming and jumping.

    I'm approved..... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I'm approved......

    congrats Sonjat

After I submitted documents...I filed service request...and here is the response...

The status of this service request is:

Based on your request we researched the status of this case. We are actively processing this case. However, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action from us within 6 months of this letter, please contact customer service at the number provided below.

I feel so bad over this now...10 months..almost

  8. I wanted to clarify two more things-

    1) I have already prepared my passport clearance certificate from passport office in January. That will be needed in NVC when they demand documents before transferring case to my country embassy. Does anyone know how long they consider that valid. In present rate, it will be asked to submit after 5 months from prepared date. I. E. from January.

    2) same is for police clearance

I have prepared that in January. How long it's valid.

  9. At least they looked at your application finally! They feel that you haven't proven one of the things intended by the I-130 and documents. For instance, possibly proof that the peitioner is a US citizen, possibly that your marriage is legal, or that your marriage was entered into for bona fide purposes (love). Or possibly they are missing some documentation or want more from you showing more evidence of a bona fide relationship with your spouse.

It could be a number of things. You will find out as soon as you receive the RFE from them. Once you find out what they need, just send them the evidence they are looking for. If it's more proof of a bona fide relationship, then send them pictures, phone records, money wire transfer records, insurance records (go overboard with evidence for this). If they are just missing something like proof that the petitioner is a US citizen, just send them a copy of the petitioner's passport and birth certificate (or citizenship certificate, etc.).

Don't worry. The first stage is ALMOST over. Just respond to them ASAP and let us know what they need so we can help you to know all the things you should send in if we can think of things you don't think of for some reason.

You are very right. I am also preparing all docs..one copy of all what possibly they can demand....will respond overnightly...

Hoping that i m close to approval..

  10. After waiting so long since June 04, they now sent us RFE...today...the status says -

"On March 26, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

What the heck this annoying thing comes now??

    I m frustrated.
