Hello....I filed my I 130 January 22, 2013 and received NOA2 approval and I am now waiting for to show up at the NVC...STILL! Just thought I'd start a thread of some others with spouses/fiances from the DR going through the K1 or CR1 process that would like to share stories.

Yup. I paid both in the last 2 days. $88 and $230.
(the i130 costs $420 but you obviously already paid that)

I just married my husband in December in the DR and we are now going through the I-130 process. It was quite a process to get all the documents prepared and translated and get the apostille seals. You do have to be divorced for 10 months before the DR will let you re-marry, unless, like stated above, you are marrying the same person you divorced.
